That's a wild story! The conductor's behavior was completely out of line. No one deserves such verbal abuse, especially a mother with her child. It reminds me of those difficult Sudoku puzzles where one wrong move can mess up the whole grid. This woman definitely got a raw deal, and the offer to hold her "monkey" is a humorous twist to an otherwise upsetting situation.
