TamilNational_Seeman_banner_apr02.jpg

[Voice - Mr.Loku Iyappan]Director Seeman is an ardent supporter of Sri Lankan Tamil's struggle, he was openly speaking in many forums supporting LTTE and against the killings of Sri Lankan Tamils by the State military machine. Police arrested him for speaking in support of LTTE and for some of his comments when speaking on Tamils issue at a meeting organized by Thirunelvely Advocate's Union.

Director Seeman was arrested under NSA, National Security Accordance on 24th of February. His Brother appealed against his detention in the Chennai High Court.

The judges hearing his case, ruled out his detention saying his speech was neither detrimental to national security nor against national unity and he cannot be booked under NSA.

Mr Lohu Iyappan, speaking to Tamil National said, 'there are two more similar cases pending, and hopefully the next hearing will be on Monday or Tuesday. We are expecting Seeman to be released on next Tuesday.'
