Subject : Sri Lankan military accused of war crimes

Colonel Alexandre MORISOD

Secretary General, CSIM.

Bonjour,

UN has asked Sri Lanka to investigate alleged war crimes committed by its military where it accuses of killing at least 40000 civilians. They also accuse bombing hospitals, denying food/medicine and extrajudicial killings. Sri Lanka has not only denied but also fails to cooperate with UN (www.un.org/News/dh/infocus/Sri_Lanka/POE_Report_Full.pdf).

Further, these accusations have been strengthened by a video by Channel 4 of UK (http://www.lobbyforpeace.com/), which was confirmed as genuine by UN experts. The images are shocking where the Sri Lankan soldiers have committed some of the worst crimes of humanity.

I urge You to cancel the participation of the Sri Lankan team until this matter is resolved.

Sincerely,

Archived
