           இணையத்தில் உலகத் தமிழ் அறிஞர்களுக்கு வணக்கம்.

 

           அடைப்படையில்  நான் ஒரு மருத்துவர், ஒரு தனியார் மருத்துவ கல்லூரியில் இணை பேராசிரியராக பணியாற்றி வருகிறேன், தமிழ் இணைய உலகம்  எனக்கு புதிது, இங்கு நிறைய குழுக்களாக தமிழர்கள் செயல்படுவதை காணும் நிலையில், யதார்த்தமாக இந்த நிலை மனித  சுபாவத்திற்கு ஏற்றது என்பதை என்னால் உணர முடிகிறது.  

   

            நாம் பல அறிவியல் துறைகளை சார்ந்தவர்கள், பல சிந்தனை நிலைகளை சார்ந்தவர்கள், பல கூகுள் குழுமங்களை சார்ந்தவர்கள் - நமக்குள் பல எதிர்பார்ப்புகள் உள்ளது , பல கடமைகள் உள்ளது, பல குறிக்கோள்கள் உள்ளது. இருப்பினும் நாம் அனைவரும் ஒரே ஒரு இடத்தில் மிக நெருக்கமாக உள்ளோம். நம் மொழி, நம் அடையாளம்; நம் மொழி சிறக்க வேண்டும் - தமிழ் மொழி வளர்ச்சி அடைய வேண்டும் - இந்த எதிர்பார்ப்பில் நமக்குள் எந்த வேற்றுமையும் கிடையாது.அனைத்து குழுமங்களை சார்ந்தவர்களும் ஒருமித்த கருத்து கொண்டுள்ள இந்த கோட்பாடுதான் இனி சில சிறப்பான மாற்றங்களை தமிழில் ஏற்படுத்த போகின்றது.   

 

        அறிவியல் என்பது ஒரு நிலையான புள்ளி அல்ல ஓடிச்சென்று தொடுவதற்கு, அது நித்தமும் அதிவேகமாக பயணிக்கும் புள்ளி , அதனை அவ்வளவு சீக்கிரத்தில் , சுலபத்தில் தமிழ்ப்படுத்த முடியாது, உலகெங்கிலும் சுமார் 10,000 மேற்பட்ட அறிவியல் இதழ்கள் உள்ளன, அவை ஒவ்வொன்றும் பல பல கட்டுரைகளை மாதாமாதம் ஆங்கிலத்தில் அறிவியலை எடுத்து இயம்புகின்றன, இன்னும் நிறைய இதழ்கள் நித்தமும் துவங்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன, பல மில்லியன் கட்டுரைகள் என்ற எண்ணிக்கையில் அவை அசுர வேகத்தில் வளர்கின்றன.

 

       ஒரு மேடை - அதில் பத்து பேர் - ஆளுக்கு பத்து நிமிடம் ( ஆனால் அனைவரும் இருபது நிமிடம் பேசுவார்கள்) - பார்வையாளர்களாக இருபது பேர் - மொத்தம் 200 நிமிடங்கள் நிகழ்வு, பேசுபவர் எப்போது முடிப்பார் என்று  ஏங்கி நிற்கும் மக்கள் ( அதில் 95% - 45 வயதை தாண்டியவர்கள் )  பேசுபவர் முடித்த மகிழ்வில் கைதட்டும் மக்கள், தன்னை பாராட்டுவதாக நினைத்து அடுத்தமுறை இன்னும் அதிக நேரம் பேசவேண்டும் என்று சூளுரை எடுத்து நகரும் பேச்சாளர் , அனைவருக்கு ஒரு பொன்னாடை , ஒரு நினைவு பரிசு. இவருக்கு அவர் பொன்னாடை போர்த்துவார், அவருக்கு இவர் பொன்னாடை போர்த்துவார், இருவருக்கும் நடுவில் அமர்ந்திருப்பவர் மற்ற இருவருக்கும் பொன்னாடை போர்த்துவார், அடுத்த முறை அவர்கள் இருவரும் இவருக்கு போர்த்த வேண்டும் என குறித்துக்கொள்வார்கள் (அடப்பாவிகளா !!! ). இப்படி தமிழ் வளர்த்த காலம் முடிவுக்கு வருகிறது - இன்னும் பத்து ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து இளைஞர்கள் இந்த விளயாட்டில் வந்து விளையாட மாட்டார்கள் -  இந்த உணர்வினை உங்களில் பலரும் ஏற்பீர்கள் என்று நம்புகிறேன். 

 

       தாய் மொழிக்கு நாம் செய்யவேண்டியது  கடமை, கடமையை சாதனையாக பாவிப்பது மடமை. 

 

       ஒரு அழகான மாற்றத்தினை ஏற்படுத்த உங்களை நான் அழைக்கிறேன். அனைத்து அறிஞர்களும் அறிவியல் தமிழ் விழியங்களை உருவாக்க  வேண்டும். அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு நமது கருத்துக்கள் சென்றடைய வேண்டும். மாணவர்களை அறிஞர்கள் நெருங்க வேண்டும்.           

 

        Tamil Wikipedia போன்ற அற்புதமான தளங்கள் தமிழில் உள்ளன, அவற்றிற்கு மாற்றாக அல்ல , அவற்றிற்கு இணையாக , துணையாக நாம் தமிழில் பல்லாயிரம் அறிவியல் விழியங்களை உருவாக்கிட வேண்டும்.ஒவ்வொரு அறிஞரும் ஒரு மாதம் இரண்டு விழியம்  என்னும் நிலையில் அறிவியல் விழியங்களை உருவாக்கிட வேண்டும், அந்த விழியங்களை அறிவியல் தமிழ் மன்றம் தாங்கி நிற்கும் புதிய நிலைக்கு, அறிவியல் தமிழை இந்த முயற்சி எடுத்து இயம்பும்.

      E for T Learning Module is a plan to create thousands of Scientific Tamil Videos for use of the next generations of Tamils.  

 

Tamil Wikipedia contains articles, why do we need videos ?

      Neurobiological studies have identified that Humans can be grouped into one of the 4 groups - V A R K - Visual Learners, Auditory Learners, Reading Learners, Kinesthetic Learners. Wikipedia will care for the Reading Learners, the lacunae for the Visual Learners must be addressed now.

 

 

Many do not have the time to view videos?

       We create this keeping the next generation in mind. 

 

You Tube contains more than million videos, How to fish for the videos of this module ?

Internet streaming is slow , Electricity is meager  in India , whats the use for the local population ?

Who can make the Scientific videos?

    Every single scholar who can speak Tamil can make the scientific videos.

How long will be each video?

    7 Minutes Only.

 

What about Poems, stories and non scientific videos ?

   Sorry, Ariviyal Tamil Mandram supports Only Scientific Videos.

 

What is the minimum age group to join the E for T Module?

     Above the age of seven.

 

How to make videos ?

     Take a simple camera ( minimum 7 megapixel) and record your prepared speech, mail it to me as up to 25 MB attachment via the Gmail in multiple parts.   

 

How will that become a video ?

      I will run it in the movie maker machine in my computer, I can adjust the lighting, sound effect in the machine while crafting the video and will crate the video with all its beauty and will upload it.

 

What are the topics to talk ?

   I have a bank of 87,000 articles in Scientific Tamil Virtual Library ( Everyday I am collecting 40 - 50 articles from the open access sites), the scholar can identify the arena in which He/She is interested in and can express it to me, I would then discuss the article and we can create the material to talk. 

 

What to do, I am busy ?

    Already 126 students have joined and successfully completed the Module, I don't think there is any person in the world who is 100 % free. Let us not give back this fashion statement to our mother tongue.

 

How many videos a scholar can make ?

    One video every  15 days will be a reasonable speed.
