The only solution to the long burning problem is the DIVORCE, i.e, TAMIL EELAM.

The following two important points need to be understood in relation to the long lasting suppression of Tamils by sinhalese in Ceylon (Sri Lanka):

i) Tamil are not Minorities. Tamils are a Nation and had their own Nation. There existed one Tamil Kingdom and a sinhala kingdom in Ceylon before the foreign invasion. Exactly 176 years ago when the British took control of Ceylon, it combined the two nations and ruled as a single country. On leaving Ceylon, they gave the power to sinhalese. Because of this blunder, ever since British left the Island, sinhalese started exercising Ethnic Cleansing in a very systematic way. We can relate this to two practical scenarios:

a) If for example, the USA brings countries like France and England together and give the power to France mainly because they are bigger in terms of the population, will the British accept it? Again the government can be elected democratically, and the constitution can be changed by the French even when 100% English rejects because of the France’s superiority in terms of the population. This is what is happening in Sri Lanka. One persons democracy is used against the other and it is unfair.

b) Tamil Eelam and Sinhala Lanka were brought together by force by British. It is like a forced marriage between two partners. If one partner turns out to be monstrous, do the people of WEst believe that the innocent partner can lead a peaceful life with the monstrous partner - this is how we have to argue. These partners have nothing in common as their religions, cultures and languages are entirely different.

ii) If 1 Million East Timorous can get their country (their population is in fact a fraction when it is compared to that of the whole Indonesia) and 2 Million Albanians can carve out their nation, Why can't Tamils in Ceylon?

BTW, by demanding for the Right-to-Self-Determination, Tamils do not infringe anybody else's freedom or rights

Please widely circulate and encourage every Tamil to take part in this election.
