நோர்வே இறுதி யுத்தத்தின்போது இலங்கைக்கு ஆயுதங்களை இரகசியமாக விற்பனை உள்ளது என்று சந்தேகிக்கப்படுகின்றது.

நோர்வேயை தளமாக கொண்டு இயங்கும் சர்வதேச மனிதாபிமான அமைப்புக்களில் ஒன்றான Norwegian Church Aid வெளியிட்ட அறிக்கை ஒன்றிலேயே இலங்கைக்கு நோர்வே இரகசியமான முறையில் ஆயுதங்களை விநியோகித்து உள்ளது என்று சந்தேகம் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

நோர்வே அமெரிக்காவுக்கு ஏராளமான ஆயுதங்களை விநியோகித்து உள்ளது என்றும் நோர்வேயின் ஆயுதங்களின் உதவியுடன் ஈராக்குடனான அமெரிக்காவின் யுத்தத்தில் 200 ஈராக்கியர்கள் குறைந்தது கொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கின்றார்கள் என்றும் இம்மனிதாபிமான அமைப்பின் செயலாளர் Atle Sommerfeldt மேற்படி அறிக்கையில் தெரிவித்து உள்ளார்.

அமெரிக்க இராணுவத்தினர்தான் நோர்வேயின் அதிகளவிலான வாடிக்கையாளர் என்று தெரிவித்துள்ள அவர் இலங்கை, சூடான், கொங்கோ ஆகிய நாடுகளுக்கும் நோர்வே ஆயுதங்களை விற்பனை செய்துள்ளது என்று அஞ்சுகின்றார் என்று கூறி உள்ளார்.

நோர்வே ஆயுத விற்பனை மூலமாகதான் பெரும்தொகை பணத்தை உலக நாடுகள் பலவற்றில் இருந்தும் சம்பாதிக்கின்றது என்றும் அவர் சுட்டிக்காட்டி உள்ளார்.
