Tamil Youth organization (TYO) organized a protest rally on Tuesday 31st March in front of British Parliament in London. The protestors carried the Tamil national flag for the first time in London, to express the Tamil need for a separate homeland. They were urging the British government to take action to bring an immediate ceasefire, to recognize the freedom struggle and the need for self determination to Tamils.More than 500 participated in the protest rally, though it was called with a very short notice.
