Government of Canada Emergency

The number is 1-613-996-7441, this number belongs to the Government Lobby at the Parliament. This is where all the ministers gather before they enter the parliament.

Call Feb.5th & 6th between 1:45 and 3:00 and ask to speak to Lawrence Cannon (Foreign Affairs Minister). Tell him that Canada need to take a stance as soon as possible with Sri Lanka regarding the genocide.

Call with your number blocked so they will pick up. Demand to speak to Lawrence Cannon, if they tell you should not be calling here, remind them, as a Canadian Citizen you have all the right to speak to your representative any time you wish (this is not Afghanistan). If Mr. Cannon does not come to the phone, demand that you leave a message (you may leave your phone number).

If we flood the lines today and Friday, they will know that Tamils are not going to sit by and just listen to lip service by the Government.

As a Tamil, even if this method seems intruding or evasive, we all have to do our part Important*** sometimes when you call the number, they are saying its the wrong number and giving callers another fake number.. don't listen!!! CPAC offers its entire program schedule live online, 24/7. So wherever and whenever you're connected to the Web, you're never more than a few clicks away from tuning in to the best in Parliamentary, political and public affairs programming. http://www.cpac.ca/forms/index.asp?dsp=tem...1073&lang=e
