The on-arrival visa facility for visitors has been suspended, with regard to four African countries, with immediate effect. This has been done as a precautionary measure to prevent the entry of Ebola virus, the External Affairs Ministry said. A red alert has been sounded over the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in India, particularly Tamil Nadu, following a warning from the Interpol, days after US intelligence agency FBI listed the Tigers as the most “dangerous outfit and deadly extremist group in the world”. “This is not just because of the FBI statement. Claymore blast kills 3 SLA soldiers in Vavuniya [TamilNet, September 10, 2006 07:42 GMT] Three Sri Lanka Army (SLA) soldiers were killed and two injured in a claymore attack at Aasikulam in Vavuniya, around 10:45 a.m., Sunday, police in the northern town said.
