ஏதாவது நடக்கிற விசயங்களை கதையுங்கோ... வாய் கூசாமல் பொய் சொல்றான் சிங்களவன், குறிப்பாக தமிழர் விடையத்தில்.

என்னடாப்பா , ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் செத்தவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை கூடிக்கொண்டே போகுது... ~24, ~61, 98, இப்ப 179 ... விட்டால் பத்தாண்டுகளில் 1000 தாண்டி விடும்...

ஒருபக்கம் சிங்களவருக்கு ஆதரவு... இன்னொரு பக்கம் இப்படி ஒரு அறிக்கை... பொய் பித்தலாட்டம் என்டு நசல் வேலை எல்லாவற்றிலும் சிறந்த அமைப்பு தான் ctc.

பல ஆதாரங்கள் தரலாம்: முதலாவது வி. நவரத்தினம் அவர்கள் எழுதிய "The Fall And Rise Of The Tamil Nation" (1995) என்ற புத்தகத்திலேயே உள்ளது, முதன் முதலில் தமிழீழத்தைக் கோரியவர் செ. சுந்தரலிங்கம் என்று... அலகு 2 ஐ வாசிக்கவும். இரண்டாவது வி. நவரத்தினம் அவர்களால் எழுதப்பட்ட "Eylom: Beginning of the Freedom Struggle" (1962) என்ற புத்தகத்தில தந்தை செல்வாவை சாடியுள்ளார்; சமஸ்டியை தூக்கிப் பிடிப்பதற்கு. (pg 72-73) மூன்றாவது இன்னொரு கடிதத்தில் (1960களில் எழுதப்பட்டது), தந்தை செல்வாவை ஏன் நாடாளுமன்றத்தில் சமஸ்டி தான் வேண்டும்... ஏன் தனிநாட்டை முன்வைக்கவில்லை என்பதான தொனிப்பட்ட/ சூழமைவு கொண்ட கடிந்த கடிதம் ஒன்றை தந்தை செல்வாவாவிற்கு எழுதினார் என்று Sangam.org வாசித்தேன். C Suntheralingham in an open letter dated July 28, 1957, addressed to S J V Chelvanayakam, wrote, “Into what a sorry pass have you led the Tamils? “I differed from your party in this regard [establishment of one or more linguistic states] to the extent that I wanted an autonomous Tamil state which would constitute a Commonwealth of Dominion of Tamil Ilankai as set out in terms of a motion I moved in Parliament by way of amendment to the Throne speech of 1956. I was all-in-all with your party in regard to the ‘Autonomous Tamil Linguistic State’. இல்லை, தந்தை செல்வா முதலில் தனிநாட்டுக் கோரிக்கையை ஏற்கவில்லை... சமஸ்டி தான் தீர்வென்றார்... இதனால் சுந்தரலிங்கம் அவர்கட்கும் தந்தை செல்வாவிற்கும் கருத்து மோதல் ஏற்பட்டது... ~1970 வரை தந்தை செல்வா தனிநாட்டுக் கோரிக்கையை ஏற்கவில்லை!
