சிறிலங்காவில் கடத்தப்பட்டு தடுத்துவைக்கப்பட்டு பின்னர் விடுவிக்கப்பட்ட மௌபிம ஊடகர் பரமேஸ்வரியின் கடவுச்சீட்டு மற்றும் அடையாள அட்டையும் சிறிலங்கா புலனாய்வுத்துறையால் பறிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

கொழும்பு பொறள்ளப் பகுதியில் நிலக்கீழ் சாலையில் சென்றுகொண்டிருந்த பரமேஸ்வரியை மறித்த

ஆயுதம் தாங்கிய நபர்கள் தம்மை அரச புலனாய்வுத்துறையினர் என்று அடையாளப்படுத்தி அவரின்

கடவுச்சீட்டு மற்றும் அடையாள அட்டை ஆகியவற்றை பறித்துள்ளனர்.

Armed group forcibly takes away journalist Parameshwari's passport & ID

An armed group has forcibly taken away the passport and the national identity card of Journalist of the Maubima news paper Parameshwari, at the Borella underground tunnel this afternoon.

According to what Parameshwari told, two armed persons in casual clothing have told her passport and identity card needs to be checked since she carries hoax ones at around 10:30 this morning. When she was about to hand them over to them, the two have forcibly taken away her hand bag and taken away the passport and the ID card along with two letters. When she asked for them the armed men have said "you know we don't talk. We only act. Come here at 2:30 in the afternoon we'll hand over these to you". They have also threatened her not to inform regarding this to the police or inform the media regarding the incident.

Parameshwari who was frightened due to the threats has not inform anyone regarding the incident and gone to the location at 2:30 and has lodged a complaint with the Borella police regarding the incident after no one turned up at the location.

She told that one of the persons who threatened her and took away her belongings was one of them who forcibly abducted her in a van in April.

Parameshwari was earlier arrested by the TID and kept in detention for months before she was released.

Group forcibly enters Alles's home; evidence of LTTE deal taken.

It is being reported that a group claimed to be from the CID has forcibly entered Tiran Alles's house in Koswatta, Rajagiriya this evening. According to his family member the group has threatened the security guards and broken into Tiran's office room and taken away certain documents and CDs. Sources say the document may have carried vital information pertaining to Tiran Alles's deal with the LTTE for the last Presidential election. Meanwhile suspicions are rising whether CDs that were taken away contained photos of the meetings which he held with LTTE leader Emil Kanthan, in the presence of Basil Rajapakse

A house of DIG of the CID D.W.Prathapasinghe is also located in the close proximity of Tiran Alles's house

Tiran Alles was today released on bail by the Colombo court.

பொறளைச் சந்தியிலுள்ள நிலக்கீழ் சாலையில் நேற்று காலை பரமேஸ்வரியை வழிமறித்து, தம்மை சிறீலங்கா காவல்துறையினர் என அடையாளப்படுத்திய இருவர், பரமேஸ்வரியின் ஆவணங்களைப் பறிமுதல் செய்தனர்.

கடவுச்சீட்டு, தேசிய அடையாளஅட்டை மேலும் இரண்டு ஆவணங்களைப் பறிமுதல் செய்த பொது உடையில் இருந்த இந்த நபர்கள், 3.00 மணியளவில் வெலிகடை காவல் நிலையத்திற்கு அருகில் தம்மை வந்து சந்திக்குமாறு உத்தரவிட்டிருந்தனர்.

இதனையடுத்து, வெலிக்கடைக்குச் சென்ற பரமேஸ்வரி, அங்கு குறிப்பிட்ட நபர்கள் இருவரும் சமூகமளிக்காத நிலையில், பொறளை காவல் நிலையத்திற்குச் சென்று தனக்கு நேர்ந்த கதி தொடர்பாக முறையிட்டுள்ளார்.

பரமேஸ்வரின் ஆள் அடையாள ஆவணங்களைப் பறிமுதல் செய்த இரண்டு நபர்களில் ஒருவர், கடந்த ஏப்ரல் மாதம் தன்னை காவல்துறை உறுப்பினர் என அறிமுகம் செய்து பரமேஸ்வரியை வாகனத்தில் கடத்திச்சென்று மிரட்டிய நபர்களில் ஒருவர் என பின்னர் இனம் காணப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

“மௌபிம” பத்திரிகையின் ஊடகவியளாளரான முனுசாமி பரமேஸ்வரி, 2006ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் மாதம் பயங்கரவாத் தடுப்புப் பிரிவினரால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு, 90 நாட்கள் தடுப்புக் காவலில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்து, பின்னர் விடுதலை செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தார்.

ஊடகவியளாளர் முனுசாமி பரமேஸ்வரியின் ஆள் அடையாள ஆவணங்கள் பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்டமை தொடர்பாக நேற்றிரவு அறிக்கை ஒன்றை வெளியிட்டுள்ள “சுதந்திர ஊடக இயக்கம்” ஆயுத முனையில் பரமேஸ்வரியின் அடையாள ஆவணங்கள் முறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்டதை வன்மையாகக் கண்டித்துள்ளது.

ஊடகவியாளர் மீதான இவ்வாறான அச்சுறுத்தல்களையும், தொல்லைகளையும் உடனயாக நிறுத்துவதற்கு உரிய தரப்பினர் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் எனவும், கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ள “சுதந்திர ஊடக இயக்கம்”, இதனை மனித உரிமை அமைப்புகளின் கவனத்திற்குக் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளது.
