More than 15,000 Tamil civilians have been murdered and 50,000 have been maimed by the Singhalese and Indian armed forces in the last 5 months in Sri Lanka. The Singhalese have placed medicine and food embargoes on the Vanni. They are starving out and bombing out the poor Tamil civilians. The Singhalese and their Indian military handlers have created concentration camps as the "final solution" for the Sri Lankan Tamils in Singhala occupied regions of the Tamil North. Please stop these crimes against humanity!!

Chemical weapons are classified as weapons of mass destruction by the UN, and their production and stockpiling was outlawed by the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1993. Sri Lanka is now using them against civilians. Please lift the ban on Tamil Tigers and let me support them to save Tamils civilians, if you cannot. We Tamils cannot simply watch and ignore as they are our kins!

The loss of the Puthikudiruppu town on April 5, 2009 suffered by the LTTE was the direct result of Indian army intervention. Thermobaric weapons and poison gas was used to kill the LTTE fighters and later Tamil civilains, reaching more than 1000. Sri Lankan military forces backed away as Indian army dressed in civilian clothing unleashed the poison gas canisters. THE USE OF POISION GAS IS AGAINST THE GENEVA CONVENTION ON WAR CRIMES FOR CONDUCTING WARFARE. THAT DOESN'T MATTER TO THE INDIAN MILITIARY AS THEY ARE BOMBING THE TAMIL CIVILIANS ON A DAILY BASIS AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF TAMILS (which is also against the Geneva convention on treatment of civilians) THE INDIAN MIILITARY SINCE 2005 HAS BEEN FRONT AND CENTER IN THE SRI LANKAN CAMPAIGN TO EXTERMINATE THE TAMILS IN SRI LANKA.

The Tamils of Ceylon have always looked at international community as their natural ally. That is because our cause is freedom. By militarily and politically aiding the Singhalese in the genocide of the Tamils of Ceylon, many countries, namely India, are destroying a natural ally. The freeworld led by US and other western nations must realize what they are witnessing and act fast to save Tamils from genocide.

Dear USA,

On June 5, 1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt issued a stern statement warning Japan to stop using poison gas in its war on China. Roosevelt received intelligence reports that Japanese military forces had used poisonous gas and other forms of what he called 'inhuman warfare,' including biological agents, on innocent Chinese civilians, which violated the Geneva Convention of 1925, an international agreement on the rules of engagement in war. Roosevelt warned that if Japan continued to use chemical warfare against China, the U.S. would consider such actions tantamount to a chemical or biological attack on America and the United Nations and respond with similar attacks. The president minced no words, stating that 'retaliation in kind and in full measure will be meted out. We shall be prepared to enforce complete retribution. Upon Japan will rest the responsibility'. Can USA issue a similar warning against Sri Lanka who also raises an inhuman warfare??

Why we stage demonstration

The parliaments of Britain, Canada, EU and the US (Congress), were vocal enough and have said enough on the question of the plight of Tamils. But the world’s ruling coterie is adamant about seeing Tamil subjugation. The Tamil Diaspora cannot let this happen. The way the demonstrations are taking place, it seems the time has come for the ruling circles to face the people directly!

What the Indian Establishment and the ruling circles of International Community don’t understand or don’t want to acknowledge is the fact that the Eelam struggle is a unique combination of people’s will and an armed movement (or GENOCIDE resistors) to safeguard the will of the people.

Given the nature of Sinhala chauvinism in the Island over the past 60 years, the armed movement was an inevitable necessity to protect the will of the Tamil people. This was also democratically mandated during 1977 general elections. Meeting Tamil aspirations with brutal violence is a historically attested, unrectifiable attribute of the Sinhala state. Thus, the need to combine armed struggle with the will of people is an irrefutable reality in the context of the Island.

A long oppressed people, identifying themselves a nation, seeking self-determination is one of the noblest causes of human civilization.

The Sri Lankan state, which has no moral standing at all to win the civilization-tested question of the Tamil struggle, is abetted by a few individuals who have hijacked the Indian Establishment and by a coterie of the ruling circles of the International Comminity.

For reasons known to them, India and the international community didn’t give a fair chance to Tamils even in waging a struggle. They put their entire wait to tilt the balance in favour of injustice.

The net result now is a multifaceted genocide of Tamils in the Island: physical, structural, cultural and above all emotional.

Genocide against Tamils is committed with shameless information sabotage. The spineless international media will go on record in the annals of civilization for its knowing-failure.

Sri Lanka violates Geneva Conventions and now is openly committing war crimes!

In recent days Sri Lanka has used banned chemical substance sgainst Tamil civilians and more than 1000 feared dead, including children and women.

The fourth Geneva Convention (1949) and two Additional Protocols (1977) belatedly extended protection to civilians during wartime :

-- Civilians are not to be subject to attack. This includes direct attacks on civilians and indiscriminate attacks against areas in which civilians are present.

-- There is to be no destruction of property unless justified by military necessity.

-- Individuals or groups must not be deported, regardless of motive

-- Civilians must not be subject to outrages upon personal dignity.

-- Civilians must not be tortured, raped or enslaved.

-- Civilians must not be subject to collective punishment and reprisals.

-- Civilians must not receive differential treatment based on race, religion, nationality, or political allegiance.

-- Warring parties must not use or develop biological or chemical weapons and must not allow children under 15 to participate in hostilities or to be recruited into the armed forces.

My God! My country is dropping poison gas on civilians!

More than 300000 people are contained in about 25 sq km and Sri Lanka is now dropping chemical wepons! More than 1000 have been killed and please stop this before it is too late!!!

Nazi Germany had the political will in WWII to commit war crimes. The Germans finally settled on Zyklon B Gas to exterminate six million Jews during the cruel reign of the Third Reich.

Today, Sri Lanka's Rajabakse is repeting history. Now, in 21st century, we are seeing this happening again!

World leaders and politicians - please act now to safeguard hapless civilians from the clutches of Sri Lanka's state terrorism !
