More than 5000 Karnataka Tamils assembled at the Karnataka Tamilnadu border are protesting in support of the Eelam Tamils. Today’s protest campaign was organized by Karnataka Tamil Sangam. They are demanding India to remove the ban on LTTE, implement immediate ceasefire and allow humanitarian aids to reach the affected people.

Tamil National reporter from Karnataka said, the protestors have blocked the main road and 3000 Lorries are stranded. Police has arrested 15 Eelam Tamil sympathisers. The protestors claim ‘LTTE as the only saviours of Eelam Tamils.’

One of the organizer when interviewed by Tamil National Reporter said, “Tamils are being killed by the Sri Lankan Government, mass killing is going on, we will continue to conduct campaigns against the atrocious act of Sri Lankan Government.”
