வெற்றிலைக்கேணியில் சிறிலங்கா இராணுவத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒருவரின் உடல் கண்டெடுப்பு

தமிழ் மக்கள் அவர்களின் சொந்த இடங்களுக்கு செல்வது தடைவிதித்திருக்கும் இடங்களில் ஒன்றான இராணுவத்தினர் அதிகம் இருக்கும் வெற்றிலைக்கேணியில் இராணுவத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒருவரின் உடல் கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. செவ்வாய் காலை கேட்ட துப்பாக்கிச் சூட்டுச்சத்தத்தின் பின்பே இறந்த நிலையில் இவரது உடல் கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. இவர் தற்கொலை செய்து கொண்டாரா அல்லது கொல்லப்பட்டாரா என்ற விடயம் இன்னும் தெரியவில்லை.

SLN soldier found dead in Vadamaraadchi East

[A soldier of Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) was found dead with gunshot wounds Tuesday morning in Vettilaikkea’ni area in Vadamaraadchi East. People who heard gunshots from Vettilaikea’ni sea area later found the above body, sources in Vadamaraadchi said. Vettilaikkea’ni area is one of the places where uprooted civilians have not been permitted to resettle but occupied by SLN soldiers, the sources added.

Chaavakachcheari magistrate who conducted the inquest into the death at the place where the body was found directed the police to handover the body to Jaffna Teaching Hospital mortuary.

It is not known whether the soldier had killed himself or was shot and killed by someone else.
