சென்னை: இலங்கை தலைநகர் கொழும்பில் நவம்பர் மாதம் நடைபெறும் காமன்வெல்த் மாநாட்டை புறக்கணிக்க வேண்டும் என்று பிரதமர் மன்மோகன்சிங்கை தமிழக முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.

 

பிரதமர் மன்மோகன்சிங்குக்கு முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா இன்று அனுப்பியுள்ள கடிதத்தில், கொழும்பில் நவம்பர் 15 முதல் 17-ந் தேதி வரை நடைபெற உள்ள காமன்வெல்த் மாநாட்டை நீங்கள் புறக்கணிக்க வேண்டும். காமன்வெல்த் மாநாட்டை இலங்கையில் இருந்து வேறு ஒரு நாட்டுக்கு மாற்றுமாறு நெருக்கடி கொடுக்க வேண்டும். இப்படி கொழும்பு மாநாட்டை புறக்கணிப்பதன் மூலமே இலங்கையில் தமிழர்களுக்கு உரிய நீதி கிடைக்கும் என்று வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.

 

கொழும்பில் காமன்வெல்த் மாநாட்டை நடத்தக் கூடாது என்று கனடா வலியுறுத்தி வருகிறது. கொழும்பு காமன்வெல்த் மாநாட்டை இங்கிலாந்தும் புறக்கணிக்க வேண்டும் என்று வலியுறுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இந்நிலையில் தமிழக அரசும் இந்திய அரசு, கொழும்பு காமன்வெல்த் மாநாட்டைப் புறக்கணிக்க வலியுறுத்தியிருப்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

The Human Rights Council has voted - but now we need you

 

 

Dear friends,

 

Today is the start of something special.

 

The Human Rights Council has once again[1] condemned Sri Lanka's human rights record, this time in even more damning terms. This is great news for everyone who cares about Sri Lanka - but to turn it into meaningful action we need your help.  

In less than a month a key part of the Commonwealth, the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG), meets. After the strong message the Human Rights Council has sent, they must take a stand and ensure that Sri Lanka is not rewarded by hosting the Commonwealth's grand summit this November - that will keep the pressure on Sri Lanka and ensure we finally get the independent international investigation Sri Lanka needs to end its cycle of murder, torture, and rape. But if the Commonwealth continues as usual then the Government of Sri Lanka will be able to use this to whitewash their crimes, and derail the process of reconciliation. The cycle of violence will continue.  

So in the next month we need our leaders to show leadership, and show the Commonwealth that it must not be business as usual. They can do this by following the Canadian Prime Minister's example and announcing that if the summit happens then they will not go. This is the most effective way we can put the pressure on the Commonwealth to act. We are going to ask this of every Commonwealth country, but we are starting with the UK.

நல்ல  செய்தி

 இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் மகா நாடு இலங்கையில்  நடத்தப்படவேண்டும் என்ற திர்மானத்தை இந்தியாதான் அவுஸ்திரேலியாவில் வைத்து திணித்தது. அந்த திணிப்பில் பெரும் பாகத்தை ஆரவமாக கொண்டு நடத்திய இரண்டு இந்திய அதிகாரிகள் ரஞ்சன் மாத்தாயும், கமலேஸ் சர்மாவும்.

 

எப்படி நம்பியார் ஐ.நாவில். இருந்து தமிழருக்கெதிரான இந்திய கொள்கைகளை அங்கு நெறிப்படுத்தினாரோ, அதே போல்த்தான் இப்பொது கமலேஸ் சர்மா தமிழருக்கெதிரான இந்திய கொள்கைகளை பொது நலவாயத்தில் நிறைவேற்றி வருகிறார்.

 

தி.மு.கவுக்காக ஐ.நா மனித உரிமைகள் சபையில் காங்கிரசு தான் ஆடிய கடைசி நேரத்து நாடகம் உண்னமையென்றால் தோற்றுப்போன அந்த தீர்மானத்துடன் நின்றுவிடாமல் முன்னால் சென்று பொதுநலவாய மகாநாட்டை தடுக்கட்டும். 

 

ஜெயலலிதா கேட்டுவிட்டார். இன்று தனது மகா நாட்டில் தி.மு.காவும் கேட்கிறது.  காங்கிரசிடம் பதில் இருக்கா? தங்கவேல், ஞான தேசிகன் முன்வந்து பேசுவார்களா?

இலங்கையில் நடைபெறவுள்ள காமன்வெல்த் மாநாட்டில் இந்தியா கலந்துகொள்ளக் கூடாது என்று முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா பிரதமரை வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.

முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா பிரதமர் மன்மோகன்சிங்கிற்கு அனுப்பியுள்ள கடிதம்: இலங்கையில் நடந்த இனப்படுகொலை, போர்குற்றங்கள் தொடர்பாக உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள தமிழர்கள் மத்தியில் குறிப்பாக தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள மக்களின் உணர்வுகள் குறித்து தங்களுக்கு ஏற்கனவே கடந்த 18ம் தேதியிட்ட கடிதத்தில் கூறியுள்ளேன்.

இலங்கைத் தமிழர்கள் தங்கள் சொந்த மண்ணில் இரண்டாம்தர மக்களாகவே இன்னும் நடத்தப்படுகிறார்கள். அங்கு இன்னும் தொடர்ந்து மனித உரிமைகள் மீறப் பட்டு வருகின்றன. இலங்கையில் நடந்த இனப்படுகொலை தொடர்பாக ஒரு உறுதியான விசாரணை நடத்தப்பட்டு குற்றம் செய்தவர்களை வெளியே கொண்டு வர வேண்டும். அமெரிக்கா கொண்டுவந்துள்ள தீர்மானத்தை ஆதரிப்பது மட்டுமல்லாமல் அந்த தீர்மானத்தில் முக்கிய திருத்தங் களைக் கொண்டுவர வேண்டும் என்றும் கருத்து தெரிவித்திருந்தேன். ஆனால், சர்வதேச அளவிலான சுதந்திரமான விசாரணை நடத்த வலியுறுத்தாமல், நீர்த்துப்போன ஒரு தீர்மானத்திற்கு இந்தியா ஆதரவு தெரிவித்து தமிழகத்துக்கு மத்திய அரசுதொடர்ந்து அநீதி விளைவித்துள்ளது.

இந்நிலையில், இந்த ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 15 முதல் 17வரை இலங்கை தலைநகர் கொழும்புவில் காமன்வெல்த் நாடுகளின் தலைவர்கள் கூட்டம் நடைபெறு கிறது. இலங்கையில் இனப்படுகொலையும், போர்குற்றமும் செய்துள்ள குற்றவாளியான நாட்டில் சர்வதேச அளவிலான மாநாடு நடத்தப்படுவது அந்த நாட்டுக்கு ஆதரவு தெரிவிப்பதுபோலாகும்.

இந்த மாநாட்டை நாடுகள் புறக்கணிக்க வேண்டும். கொழும்புவில் நடைபெறும் காமென்வெல்த் மாநாட்டை புறக்கணிப்பதன்மூலம், அந்த நாட்டில் நடந்த இனப்படுகொலையை சர்வதேச அளவில் எடுத்துச்சொல்லி அந்த நாட்டுக்கு நெருக்கடி கொடுக்க பிரதமருக்கு வாய்ப்பு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

இதன்மூலம் இலங்கை ராணுவத்தின் கொடுமைக்கு ஆளான இலங்கைத் தமிழ் மக்களுக்கு சமஉரிமையும் வாழ்வும் கிடைக்க வழி ஏற்படும். பல்வேறு நாடுகளும், ஜி,8 நாடுகளும் காமென்வெல்த் மாநாட்டில் கலந்துகொள்ளக்கூடாது என்று முடிவெடுக்க உள்ளன. இலங்கையைத் தவிர்த்து வேறு நாட்டில் இந்த மாநாட்டை நடத்த வேண்டும் என்று கோர இந்த சந்தர்ப்பத்தை இந்தியா பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும். இந்தியா சார்பில் யாராவது இந்த மாநாட்டில் கலந்துகொண்டால் இலங்கை அரசுக்கு அது உற்சாகத்தை ஏற்படுத்துவதுடன் தமிழ் நாட்டு மக்களின் உணர்வுகளை தூண்டிவிடும்.

எனவே, இந்த காமென்வெல்த் மாநாட்டில் தாங்கள் கலந்துகொள்ளக்கூடாது என்று வலியுறுத்திக் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன். இலங்கையில் தமிழர்களுக்கு எதிராக நடந்த இனப்படுகொலை, ஜனநாயக மீறல்கள், மனித உரிமை மீறல்கள் குறித்து உடனடியாக நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க பிரசாரத்தை மேற்கொள்ள இந்தியா தனது ராஜதந்திரத்தைப் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும். இதன் மூலம் இலங்கையில் சிறுபான்மையினராக உள்ள நம்பிக்கையில்லாமல் இருக்கும் தமிழ் மக்களுக்கு நீதி கிடைக்க இலங்கைக்கு நெருக்கடி கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.

இந்த நடவடிக்கை மூலம் இலங்கையில் மட்டுமல்லாமல் தமிழகத்தில் இருக்கும் ஒட்டுமொத்த தமிழ் மக்களுக்குச் செய்ய வேண்டிய கடமையைச் செய்து அவர்கள் மீது சிங்களர்கள் நடத்திய கொடுமைகளுக்கு ஆறுதல் அளிக்க முடியும். இவ்வாறு முதல்வர் தனது கடிதத்தில்

கூறியுள்ளார்.
