கடந்த சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன்னர் நாஊரு(Nauru)ற்க்கு வந்து இறங்கிய 82 தமிழ் அகதிகளில் 6 தமிழ் அகதிகள் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு செப்டெம்பர் மாதம் 5ந்திகதி வரை அவர்களை மறியலில் வைக்குமாறு நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது. அவர்களில் ஒருவர் 20 வயதுடைய நாஊரு நாட்டுபெண்ணை கற்பழித்த குற்றத்திற்கும் மற்றைய 5 பேர் அவதூறான் முறையில் நடந்து கொண்டமைக்காகவும் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக செய்திகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன................

ஈழத்தமிழரில் காமுகன் இல்லை என நான் சொல்லவில்லை அவர்கள் போனநிலையில் அப்படி இருக்கமுடியாது..

கடந்த பெப்ரவிரியில் படகில் சென்று ஆஸ்ரேலியாவில் அரசியல தஞ்சம் கோர முயன்ற நிலையில், அருகில் உள்ள நவ்றூ தீவல் தடுத்து வைக்கப்ட்டடிருக்கும் 82 ஈழத்தமிழ் அகதிகளில் அறுவருக்கு எதிராக, இருபது வயது நவ்றூப் பெண் ஒருவரைப் பாலியல் பலாத்தகாரம் செய்தனர் என்றும், ஒழுக்கக் கேடாக நடந்து கொண்டனர் என்றும குற்றம் சுமத்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

இந்த 82 ஈழத்தமிழ் அகதிகளும் இதே போல வேறு ஏழு பர்மிய அதிகளும் படகுகளில் ஓஸ்ரேலியவாவுக்குள், நுழைய முயன்ற சமயம் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு நவ்றூ தீவில் குடியேற்றத் தடுப்புக்காவலில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

இவர்களைப் பராமரிப்பது தொடர்பாக ஆஸ்ரேலிய அரசு நவ்றூ தீவு நிர்வாகிகளுடன் உடன்பாடு கண்டுள்ளது. இந்தத் தடுப்புக் காவல் அகதிகளின் நலனை குடியேற்றத்துக்கான சர்வதேச நிறுவனம் கவனித்து வருகின்றது.

வழமைகயாக இந்த அகதிகள் தினசரி காலை 8மணிக்கு பின்னர் தங்களது தடுப்பு முகாமிலிருந்து வெளியேறி இரவு 7 மணிவரை தீவு வாசிகளின் குடியேற்றப்பிரதேசத்தில் கலந்து பழக அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டு வந்தனர்.

இந்த நிலையிலேயே மேற்படி குற்றச்சாட்டின் பேரில் ஆறு அகதிகள் நவ்றூ தீவு பொலிசாரால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர் என்ற தகவல் கடந்த செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை ஆஸ்திரேலிய அதிகாரிகளுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கி

களிசறைகள் இப்படி நடப்பது கேவலம் எதிர்காலம் என்னவென தெரியாமலே இப்படியான கீழத்தரமான செயற்பாடுகளால் வெட்கபடவேண்டும்

ஈழத்தமிழருக்கு அவுஸ்திரேலியாவில் மரியாதை இருகின்றது குற்றச்செயல்கள் குரைந்த சமூகம்,கடின உழைபாளிகள் என ஆனால் இந்த சம்பவத்தால் வெட்கப்படபோவது ஓட்டுமொத்த ஈழத்தமிழரும்தான்

தலையங்கத்தை படித்தவுடன் ஈழத் தமிழ் அகதிகள் 6 பேர் வல்லுறவுக்கு உள்ளாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்கள் என்று நினைத்தேன். வல்லுறவுக்கு உட்படுத்திவிட்டு அவதூறு வழக்கில் கைது செய்யப்பட்டும் விட்டார்கள் என்றும் புரிந்துகொண்டேன்.

இன்னும் முக்கியமான ஒன்று உண்டு.

நாம் பாலியல் வல்லுறவு என்ற வார்த்தையை கைவிட்டு சில ஆண்டுகள் ஆகிவிட்டன. இந்த வார்த்தையை நீக்கி விடுங்கள். கற்பை அழிக்க முடியாது.

"ஈழத் தமிழ் அகதிகள் 6 பேர் வல்லுறவு மற்றும் அவதூறு வழக்கில் கைது" என்பது ஓரளவு சரியான தலையங்கமாக அமையும்

Six Sri Lankan asylum seekers at Austalia's immigration processing facility on Nauru have been charged with indecent assault.

If convicted, they face two years in jail.

Last week, Nauru police arrested the six men after an alleged attack on a local woman on a beach.

The lawyer representing the six, Vinci Clodumar, says his clients will face court next week to hear the prosecution's case and enter a plea.

Mr Clodumar told Radio Australia the six accused are doing well, and have been allowed to await trial at the detention centre.

"They're ok - just a bit anxious, having been remanded for seven days, they were anxious to be released and with the cooperation of the police we had a discussion on Monday afternoon they were able to agree to us to apply for bail with certain conditions that they remain in the camp."

Asylum seekers admitted to hospital

Three Sri Lankan asylum seekers being detained on Nauru have been admitted to hospital on the island.

More than 80 Sri Lankans are being held at Australia's offshore immigration processing centre in Nauru, and 55 are reported to be on hunger strike.

The asylum-seekers say they plan to continue their protest until the Australian government gives them a timetable for their refugee claims to be processed.

The Sri Lankans have been waiting since February to have their claims heard, and they say the response from Canberra so far has been silence.

"We have no way to talk with the government, everyday we are talking, talking, talking to the immigration officers and every officer told us: sorry, we don't know, we don't know, we don't know."
