War crimes in Sri Lanka, U.K Parliamentary Debate 11am next Wednesday 16 June, Westminster Hall, Houses of Parliament, This is initiated by Siobhain McDonagh MP and we should encourage all Party MPs to participate and speak.

MPs will generally only act on behalf of their constituents, so please check you are contacting the MP who represents your constituency.

Contact them at http://www.writetothem.com or Call 020 7219 3000 and ask for your MP by name

Sugestions:

Write about Post war ethinic cleansing & Genocide !!!!

Treat those 12,000 Tamil girls and boys tortured , raped and murdered secretly in the Vanni jungle camps. Please think how would you react if they are your kids or brothers and sisters ?. These people have no voice other than yours and it is your heart which needs to hear their last screamings.

Can you atleast save the remaining lives?

Proof???

The report of International Crisis group can be seen in this link.

New Evidence of Wartime Abuses

Government Inquiry Inadequate; UN Should Establish International Investigation – by Human Rights Watch, May 20, 2010.

The Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal on Sri Lanka found that crimes against humanity and war crimes were committed by the Sri Lankan State and its armed forces. It recommended further investigations to ascertain if genocide has been committed. It also found USA and UK guilty of destabilising the peace process based on the 2002 ceasefire agreement.

* Hundreds of human remains found in Northern Sri Lanka after 19th of May

* No information given to the parents whose children were taken by military for inquirry from concentration camps

* Tamil women are sexually abused and hunt by Sri Lankan military in Vanni

* The released Tamil women have been asked to sign in local military camps and threatned to commit sexual acts for their survival.

* Huge military clearance carried out by Sri Lankan military to burn all the human remains from May to December through out Vanni.

* Deep jungle military jails have been kept out of records and out of law by Sri Lankan military which are believed to be for Prisoners of war.

Call for a referendum in Eelam supervised by UN/EU on separation and independence.

Tamil Eelam or not is a personal issue but we shall act democratically to decide on this. The UK MPs will readily support such a democratic exercise. So please write to them to urge for democrtic practise which will stop another war in Sri Lanka.

So all British MPs have to unite to call for such democrtic move which will resolve all our issue.

Your mails should reach immidiately!

"If the recent smashing of the Wanni and the murder of thousands of

Tamils, do not convince the tamils that Tamil Eelam is mandatory, the

Tamils are more stupid than I thought they were" - Dr. Brian Senewiratne
