தமிழகத்தில் இடம்பெறுகின்ற இலங்கை எதிர்ப்பு ஆர்ப்பாட்டங்கள் அரசியல் லாபத்துக்காக நடத்தப்படுவதாக த ஹிந்துஸ்தான் டைம்ஸ் பத்திரிகை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இலங்கையுடனான நட்புறவை இடைநிறுத்துமாறும், தமிழீழத்துக்காக கருத்துக்கணிப்பை நடத்தவும், பொருளாதார தடையை ஏற்படுத்தவும், தமிழ்நாட்டு சட்ட மன்றத்தில் தீர்மானம் நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது.

இந்த கோரிக்கைகள் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள முடியாதவை என்று இந்திய வெளிவிவகார அமைச்சர் சல்மன் குர்சித் நேற்று அறிவித்திருந்தார்.

 

இதேகருத்தையே இந்துஸ்தான் டைம்ஸ{ம் வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

அத்துடன் தமிழ்நாட்டு அரசாங்கம் இலங்கை கிரிக்கட்வீரர்களுக்கும் தடை விதித்துள்ளமையையும், ஹிந்துஸ்தான் பத்திரிகை கண்டித்துள்ளது.

விளையாட்டுத்துறையையும், அரசியலையும் இணைக்க கூடாது என்று அது சுட்டிக்காட்டியுள்ளது.

இதேவேளை யுத்தத்தின் பின்னர் இலங்கையில் தமிழர்கள் சகல உரிமைகளுடன் பிரச்சினைகள் இன்றி வாழ்வதாக, முன்னாள் இலங்கை கிரிக்கட் வீரர் முத்தையா முரளிதரன் அண்மையில் தெரிவித்திருந்தார்.

 

இந்த கருத்தையும் ஹிந்துஸ்தான் டைம்ஸ் வரவேற்றுள்ளது.

Thanks for your editorial, "More Tamil than Lanka's Tamils" ( http://www.hindustantimes.com/News-Feed/Editorials/More-Tamil-than-Lanka-s-Tamils/Article1-1034408.aspx ) .

 

The war was ended four years ago, but only a few know how it was ended. And yet not the truth about how more than 40000 innocents were killed not answered. Nor the loved know whether they live or dead. The remaining victims now face increased military presence, threats, abductions, attacks, rapes and occupation of their lands. In other words injustice continues. 

 

If India wants a place in the 21st century it should value the demands of people of TamilNadu and its state resolutions on Sri Lanka where more than 500 fishermen were being killed by Sri Lanka and that continues.  

 

The history of Sri Lanka at cross roads and New Delhi must hear the just voice of TamilNadu !

When Arab Spring was on table President Obama sided with students, paving historic change in Egypt. It is now Prime Minister Manmohan Singhs' turn on the history. While the reasons and implications may be different, the root is the same : the will of popular youth rising.
