புறக்கணிப்போம் இலங்கையை என்று ஒரு திட்டம் ஆரம்பித்து ஏறத்தாள 10 மாதங்கள் ஆகின்றன. இதன் விளைவுகள் எப்படி இருக்கின்றன என்று யாராவது தெரிந்தவர்கள் கூற முடியுமா?

நான் அப்பொழுதே கூறி இருந்தேன் இது சாத்தியமில்லை என்று. புறக்கணி இலங்கை வெற்றி அடைந்ததா?

இதை விடுத்து, இலங்கையில் நடைபெறும் அடிப்படை அரசியல் பிரச்சனை பற்றி வெளி நாட்டு மக்களுக்கு ஆரம்பத்தில் இருந்து இன்று வரை இலங்கையில் என்ன நடைபெறுகின்றது என்பதை அறியத்தருவது சிறந்தது என்று நினைக்கின்றேன். நாம் அலுவலகங்கள் முன் கூடி நின்றோ அல்லது கவன ஈர்ப்புப்போராட்டங்கள் என்ற பெயரில் தெரியப்படுத்துவதோ சிறந்த முறை அல்ல. இவ்வாறான போராட்டங்களை நடத்துபவர்கள் ஒன்றை சிந்தித்துப் பார்க்க வேண்டும்.

நாம், அதாவது இந்த போராட்டங்களை நடத்தி அட்டைகளையும் வேறு பல அச்சிடப்பட்ட கடதாசிகளையும் வினியோகிக்கின்றோம். ஆனால் இவ்வாறு செய்யும் போது, அது எவ்வளவு ஆழமாக மக்களை சென்றடைகின்றது என்று சிந்துத்து பார்த்து இருக்கின்றீர்களா? உதாரணமாக, ஒரு வேற்று நாட்டு மனிதன் ஒரு அட்டையை நீங்கள் தெருவில் செல்லும் போது கொடுத்தால் அதை வாங்கி பார்த்து விட்டு ஒரு கழிவுகள் போடும் இடத்தில் போட்டு விட்டு சென்று விடுவீகள். இதைத்தான் நாம் கொடுக்கும் போது மற்றவர்களும் செய்வார்கள். ஆக, இலங்கையில் நடைபெறும் சம்பவங்களை மேலைத்தேச மக்களை சென்றடையக்கூடிய வகையில் தெரியப்படுத்த வேண்டும். இதை ஒரு வர்த்தக ரீதியில் நகத்தினால் வெற்றி காணலாம் என்பது எனது நம்பிக்கை. வெறுமனே இணையத்தில் எழுதுவதாலும் புறக்கணி சிறிலங்கா என்று கடைகளில் சொல்வதாலும், கவன ஈர்ப்பு போராட்டம் என்று தெருக்களில் கூடி வ்

ஏலை வெட்டி இல்லாத மேலைத்தேசத்தவர்களின் பொழுதைப்போக்க வழுவகுப்பதையும் விட, வேறு வழியாக சிந்திக்கலாம். இலகுவாக எல்லா தர மக்களையும் அடையக்கூடிய வழி இதனை வர்த்தக ரீதியாக கையாழ்வதே.இதை வர்த்தக ரீதியாக கையாழும் போது ஊடகங்களை இலகுவாக நம் வசப்படுத்தலாம்.

யாரவது இதற்கு ஆதரவு தர முடியும் என நினைத்தால், எழுதுங்கள் உங்கள் கருத்தை, முயன்று பார்கலாம்.

சிங்கள தேசத்துப் பொருட்களை புறக்கணிப்போம்! என்ற கோசம் இப்போது எந்தநிலையில் இருக்கின்றது?

உந்த பெண்டுகள் திருந்தாதுகள் கடைக்கு போய் சாமான் வாங்கிறது அவைதான் கூட . மனுசன் மார் கார் ஓடிக்கொண்டு போய் காருக்க இருக்க சரி. சரி அதை வாங்காதை அப்பா எண்டாலும் ஒருநாளைக்குதானே எண்டு வாங்கி அடையினம்.

இந்த புறக்கணிப்பு போராட்டம் இணையத்தை விட்டு வெளிய பெண்கள் மத்தியில போய் சேரனும் அப்ப தான் வெற்றி பெறும்.

அதுக்கிடையில உங்க தமிழ் பேப்பர் இலவசமாக அடித்து ஏதாவது நாலு தாயக தகவலை சொல்லுவம் எண்டு சில பேர் செய்கினம் அதுக்கு விளம்பரதார்ர் தான் பங்காளிகள். இப்ப விளம்பரகாரர் காணாது எண்டு பல இலவச பேப்பர் மரணம் ஆயிட்டினம். அனா சில தமிழ் கோயில்கள் லண்டனில இருந்து வாற துவேச இலவச சிங்கள பத்திரிகைக்கு கோயிலண்ட திருவிழா நோட்டிஸ் எல்லாம் கொடுத்து விளம்பர உதவி செய்து பேப்பரை ஊக்குவிக்கினம். அதுவும் தமிழில் தான் பிரசுரிச்சு கிடக்கு. ஏன் இந்த வேலை அதை நாலு தமிழர் வாசித்தாலும் பரவாயில்லை. உந்த விம்பிள்டன் பிள்ளையார் கோயில் மும்மரம். இதென்ன சிங்கள எம்பசிக்கு வால் பிடிகிற வேலையோ

ஜெனரல், எனக்கு இந்ததிட்டம் வெற்றி பெறும் என்று நம்பிக்கை உள்ளது. நான் புறக்கணிப்பு யாழில் இணைந்ததில் இருந்து செய்துவருகின்றேன். ஒரு பிரச்சனை என்னவென்றால், சிறீ லங்கா எயார் லைன்சில் போவதை எம்மவர்கள் புறக்கணிக்க முன்வருவார்களா என்பது. ஏனென்றால், அதில் மலிவு விலையில் பயணம் செய்யலாம். எம்மவர்கள் யாராவது புறக்கணிப்பு செய்வதன் மூலம் சில நூறு அல்லது சில பத்து டொலர்களை தியாகம் செய்ய ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கின்றார்களா? இந்த மனப்பக்குவம் எம்மிடம் உள்ளதா? அது இருந்தால் நாம் இந்த முயற்சியில் வெற்றிபெறுவோம்.

புலத்தில் பலரது வீட்டிற்கு சென்றால் அங்கே இருப்பது - சிறிலங்கன் டில்மா தேயிலை. உடல் நிலை, தடிமன் ஏற்பட்டால் அவர்கள் பாவிப்பது சமகன். ஆனால் இவர்களில் பலர் சிறிலங்கன் விமானத்தை புறக்கணிக்கிறார்கள்.

Every time you buy something made in Sri lanka you are giving foreign exchange to the STATERRORISTS to buy arms and ammunition to kill our own brothers and sisters. Do you really need the Sri Lankan products? So you become an accessory to the mass scale murder going on in our mother land. So can you please at least for 100 days refrain from buying any product made in Sri Lanka.

Also investors can you please stop purchasing Bonds, Treasury bills and Share in Corporations.

We have listed below a few products

1. Food item from Marketing department

2. Food items by Larich, Maliban, Nestle milk products

3. Food items imported by Sri Lankan Tamils and packed here.

4. Clothing is super markets

5. Products made from Rubber and Coconut

6. All forms of tea.

7. Medicinal products

8. Fish, Fish products and Vegetables etc

Ask your retailer if the products are from Sri Lanka. if they do DON'T BUY, if you do then don't compalin about the atrocities. We are also offering opportunity for young entrepreneurs to manufacture and market these products locally. Please contact the respective government food inspection agencies to check the quality of the food items sold.

In fact we are contacting the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to inspect these products for food safety. The retailers are willing cooperate but they want the consumers to lead the boycott and the they will stop selling these products.

Also on the list must be,

9. Bonds

10 Treasury Bills

11. Shares in Corporations

12. More than necessary remittance to Sri Lanka.

ஏன் பல நாடுகளில் விபச்சாரம் தடை, போதைப் பொருள் தடை என்று வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். அரசாங்கங்கள் அதற்கென்று சட்டம் வகுப்பது, காவல்துறையை நியமிப்பது என்று எதுவும் செய்யத்தேவையில்லையே... பேசாமல் மக்களிடம் மக்களே நீங்கள் இவற்றைப் புறக்கணிக்கவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லிவிட்டுப் போகலாமே?

ஆனால் எங்களுக்கென்று அரசாங்கம் இல்லை. தடைச் சட்டம் போட. ஆகவே நாங்கள் இந்த இரு பகுதியினரயும் (மக்கள், வியாபாரிகள்) நோக்கி பரப்புரை செய்தல் வேண்டும்.

வியாபாரிகளைப் பொறுத்தவரை எங்களிடம் ஒரு சில பிடிகள் இருக்கின்றன.. (1) பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் முறையாக வரி கட்டுவதில்லை. (2) இந்த இலங்கைப் பொருட்களை உண்மையாகப் பரிசோதித்தால் இந்த நாடுகளின் சுகாதார விதிமுறைகளை மீறக்கூடியவையாக இருக்கும். இவற்றை வைத்து இவர்களை நாம் பணியச்செய்யலாம்.

Sri Lanka Crisis: It’s the economy, Ladies & Gentlemen

We are at the midst of a great economic meltdown. Several of the so called developed countries have lost more than half of their net capitalization of stock market due to this economical tsunami at the blink of an eye.

While Trillion dollar economies of USA, U.K, Japan and India are under turmoil, one would wonder what would be the fate of the economy of the tiny South Asian nation Sri Lanka that is waging a genocidal war against its ethnic minority. It is unfortunate that calls for a permanent ceasefire by several nations including Canada, USA, UK and also the UN has fallen on deaf ears.

We are all aware that a war has to be fought not just at the battlefront but also from political and economic fronts. The current Sri Lankan civil war referred by some as the “Eelam war IV” is also being fought from all these fronts. Considering the large population of the Tamils living in countries like USA, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia - the Tamils who are collectively campaigning for an immediate ceasefire, have the numeric advantage over the Sinhala masses that back the war mongering regime of the Rajapakse brothers.

If only those who are in favor of freedom and human dignity can launch a campaign in collaboration with the native population of the respective countries they live in - to boycott “Made in Sri Lanka” products, a strong message – one that cannot be tainted negatively or brushed aside easily, can be sent to the Sri Lankan regime and possibly force an end to this war.

One needs to put his/her sharp mind to work in this “economical battlefront”. Tourism, Tea, Coffee, Garments and Overseas money transfer are some major revenue sources for Sri Lanka. It is this revenue that is boosting the confidence of the Sri Lankan regime to continue the war. Unless it is necessary to support their relatives back in Sri Lanka, one must seize their money transfers to Sri Lanka. Also if possible they should liquidate or pull back their investments from Sri Lanka. This can be done with little effort by every individual.

Working collectively with other freedom loving members they can take the list of travels agencies that sell tour packages to Sri Lanka and request these agencies “Not to be a part to the genocide” by presenting relevant facts thorough emails and holding peaceful rallies in front of their offices.

In your day to day life – when you come across products made in Sri Lanka - either a Tea bag in the grocery store or Garments in the Malls, every individual has the historical responsibility to boycott that product and also communicate not only to Tamils, but to every fellow human on where the money is going. The business’s that deal with Sri Lankan products need to be informed about the “loss of life” that is being caused with every transaction of these products.

In an informed and responsible society, everyone is a freedom fighter. Let us all realize how the strength of 1 million+ strong Tamil Diaspora can multiply when they start working with all the freedom loving citizens of the country they live in.

As Bill Clinton used the phrase “It’s the economy, stupid” to defeat George H.W. Bush during the 1992 presidential campaign, although Papa Bush was considered unbeatable because of the foreign policy developments such as the end of the Cold War and the Persian Gulf War. Let us all use the phrase “It’s the economy, Ladies & Gentlemen” to knock down the war mongering Sri Lankan regime from its pursuit of this genocidal war.
