In a press release last year on question of Srilanka War Crimes ICC said:

"Office of the Prosecutor would like to clarify that Sri Lanka is not a State Party to the Rome Statute."

Now the news is "International Criminal Court Begins Libya Inquiry".

Note that Libya is not under the Rome Statute either!

Dear Sir/Madam:

We congratulate ICC for taking bold and courageous step to prosecute the Libyan leader and associates for alleged crimes against humanity and genocide. This should help to save any further killings of innocents where UN now estimates between 3000 -7000 people have been killed.

Leading into May 2009, UN also declared that at least 7000 civilians were massacred by the Sri Lankan current rulers. We encourage and hope same measure will be considered in this case as well.

Sincerely,

========
