அண்மையில் இராணுவத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டவர்களுள் பதின்மூன்று தமிழ் யுவதிகள் மன உளைச்சலுக்குள்ளாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர் என கிளிநொச்சி வைத்தியசாலையில் அனுமதித்தபோதிலும், அவர்கள் அனைவரும் பாலியலுக்குள்ளாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர் என சட்ட வைத்திய அதிகாரி ஒருவரிடமிருந்து தகவல்கள் கசிந்துள்ளது.

அவர் மேலும் தெரிவிக்கையில்,

அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட அப்பாவித் தமிழ் யுவதிகள் அனைவரும் பாலியலுக்குட்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளார்கள் எனவும், அவர்களுக்கு சிகிச்சை அளிப்பதற்கான மருத்துவ வசதிகள் கிளிநொச்சி வைத்தியசாலையில் இல்லாமையினால், யாழ். போதனா வைத்தியசாலையில் இருந்து குறித்த மருந்து வைகைகளை வரவழைத்து அவ் யுவதிகளுக்கு சிகிச்சையளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இவ் யுவதிகளை குறித்த சில சிங்கள வைத்தியர்களை வைத்து சிகிச்சை அளிக்க அனுமதித்ததுடன், இத் தமிழ் யுவதிகளை பார்வையிட பெற்றோர்களையோ, வைத்தியர்களையோ, தாதியர்களையோ, அரச அதிகாரிகளையோ, அமைச்சர்களையோ அனுமதிக்க மறுத்து கிளிநொச்சி வைத்தியாசலையை சுற்றி இராணுவத்தினர் காவலில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தனர் என குறித்த சட்ட வைத்திய அதிகாரி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

ஆனால் இராணுவம், குறித்த யுவதிகள் மன உளைச்சலுக்குள்ளாகியதாகவும், அவர்களுக்கு பேய் பிடித்துவிட்டதாகவும் கூறி அனைவரையும் நம்ப வைக்க முயற்சிக்கின்றது. ஆனால் அப்பாவியான அவர்கள் பாலியலுக்குள்ளாக்கப்பட்டுனர் என மேலும் சட்ட வைத்திய அதிகாரி தெரிவித்துள்ளதாக தகவல்கள் கசிந்துள்ளன.

Dear Madame Michelle Bachelet and UN women;


I would like to bring to your immediate attention about an alarming situation facing the Tamil women forcibly conscripted by the Sri Lankan military in northern province of the country.

 

Reports suggest 17 female recruits (out of hundreds conscripted) belonging to SLA 6th Brigade, were admitted to two military hospitals with mental illnesses and 'possessed' mental states, some were unconscious upon arrival. Sources close to the hospitals say that there is no sign of any patients being out of hospital yet and some of them are still unconscious or hallucinating. Around 8 girls were noticed in a mentally affected state last week in the military camp.

 

They were crying incessantly. Tension prevails as the kith and kin of the females are not allowed to meet them and journalists are kept in the dark. Around 30 military personnel guarding the hospital were not allowing the parents or community members to independently witness the state of the victims. The victims are treated by military doctors and nurses.

There is widespread fear of sexual exploitation and harassment inflicted on conscripted Tamil girls in the Sri Lankan military. Some reports indicate that the affected state of mind of the girls was due to sexual harassment inflicted on them in the night times by the occupying soldiers, exclusively Sinhalese. For more than two weeks, parents were not able to get in touch with their daughters and they were in shock to learn that the victims were admitted to the hospital. It was reported earlier that the victims were protesting against forced conscription to military services.  As of 2nd December, mobile phones have been barred inside the military camp where these girls were taken into.

On December 11, Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) issued a press release with a statement from the Women's Action Network (WAN) that Tamil women are widely coerced into joining the military. BBC correspondent reports, the 'Enlistment Letters' for these female recruits are in Sinhala only and says many girls were duped to join military threatening with consequences.

It is not the first time sexual violence against Tamil women has happened in Sri Lanka and the world at large has been kept 'silence'.

Please help these women and help to stop this inhuman abuse in 2012!

இராணுவத்தில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டு சுகவீனம் உற்று கிளிநொச்சி மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்ட 15 தமிழ் பெண்களுக்கு சிகிச்சை அளித்த மருத்துவர் அவர்கள் எவரும் பாலியல் வல்லுறவுக்கு உட்படுத்தப்படவில்லை என்று கூறியுள்ளார்.

அந்தப் பெண்கள் உள்மன முரண்பாடு என்னும் உள நோய்க்கு ஆளாகியிருப்பதாகவும், போருக்கு பின்னரான நிலையில் வன்னியில் பல இடங்களில் இப்படியாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களை தான் பார்த்திருப்பதாகவும் வவுனியா மருத்துவமனையின் உளநல மருத்துவரான டாக்டர் . சிவசுப்ரமணியம் சிவதாஸ் கூறுகிறார்.

 

இராணுவத்தினரால் அந்தப் பெண்கள் துஷ்பிரயோகம் செய்யப்பட்டதற்கான எந்தவிதமான ஆதாரங்களையும் தான் அவர்களிடம் காணவில்லை என்றும் அவர் கூறியுள்ளார்.

 

உண்மையில் தாம் பாலியல் வல்லுறவுக்கு உட்படுத்தப்பட்டிருக்கலாம் என்ற வகையில் அடிக்கடி ஊடகங்களில் வரும் செய்திகள் தம்மை மிகவும் மோசமாகப் பாதித்திருப்பதாகவும், உண்மையில் அப்படியான நிகழ்வுகள் எதுவும் தமக்கு ஏற்படவில்லை என்றும் அந்தப் பெண்கள் தன்னிடம் கூறியதாகவும் அவர் தமிழோசையிடம் தெரிவித்தார்.

 

தான் தமிழ் தேசியத்தை ஆதரிப்பவன் என்ற வகையில் இராணுவம் இவ்வளவு அவசரமாக பெண்களை பணிக்கு சேர்த்ததில் தனக்கு உடன்பாடு இல்லை என்கின்ற போதிலும், ஒரு மருத்துவன் என்ற வகையில் இந்தப் பெண்கள் எந்த வகையிலும் பாலியல் ரீதியாக துன்புறுத்தப்படவில்லை என்பதை உலகுக்கு சொல்ல வேண்டிய கடமை தனக்கு உண்டு என்றும் டாக்டர் சிவதாஸ் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

நாம் கருத்துக்கள்  எழுதுவது  இக்கட்டான சூழலில் வாழும் எமது சகோதரிகளின் வாழ்வோடு சம்பந்தப்பட்டது என்பதை நாம்  உணரவேண்டும்.

ஆரம்ப தகவல்கள் இது ஓரிருவருக்கு "கலை"  வர அது மேலும் சிலரை "கலை" ஆட வைத்தது என்கிறார்கள். பயந்த சிங்களப் பயங்கரவாதிகள்  அவர்களை மருத்துவ மனையில் அனுமதித்துள்ளனர். பாலியல் துஸ்பிரயோகம்  பற்றி  உறுதிப்படுத்த முடியவில்லை.  ஆனால் சிங்களப் பயங்கரவாதிகள் பெற்றோர் / உறவினர் சந்திக்க  மறுத்தமை நிலைமையை சிக்கலாக்கியுள்ளது.

நாம்  உடன் செய்ய வேண்டியது.
(1) அந்த 100+  பெண்களின் கட்டாய சேர்ப்பு சட்டவிரோதமானது என்பதை சட்ட ரீதியாக எதிர்கொண்டு (சர்வதேச, உள்ளூர்) அவர்களை விடுதலை செய்ய வேண்டும். (இதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுக்கும்படி சில பிரதிநிதிகளை தொடர்பு கொண்டபோதும் அவர்கள் இன்னும் செயலில் இறங்கவில்லை).
(2) சிங்கள ராணுவ பயங்கரவாதிகளின் சதி முயற்சிகளை முறியடிக்க, குறிப்பாக வன்னிப் பகுதிகளில் போதிய விழிப்புணர்வுகளை ஏற்படுத்த வேண்டும்  (இதில் கூட்டமைப்புக்கு  பெரும்  பங்குண்டு).
(3) இதன்  அடிப்படையில் சிங்கள ராணுவ பயங்கரவாதிகள் வடகிழக்கில் இருந்து  அப்புறப்படுத்தி ஐநா படைகளை நிறுத்தக் கோரலாம்.
   
தமிழில் அறிக்கைகள், கண்டனங்கள் விடுத்து திருப்திப்படும் தமிழர் அமைப்புக்கள், அதனுடன் நின்றுவிடாமல் தொலைநோக்குடன் ஐ.நா.  சர்வதேச ராஜதந்திரிகளை ராஜதந்திரிகளை ஆதரங்களுடன் அறிவுறுத்தும் தொடர்ச்சியான செயலில் இறங்க வேண்டும். அதற்கு தேவையான ஆதாரங்களைச் சேகரிக்கும் பணியையும் தொடர்ந்து செய்ய வேண்டும். ஆவணப்படுத்தல் முக்கியமானது.
