இவர் தம்பியை புலிகள் கடத்தினதை விசாரிக்க வேணுமாம்

 

ஓ அமெரிக்க ஆலன் தம்பதியினரை கடத்திவிட்டு மோகனாதாஸ் ஆறைக்குள்ளே வைத்து வெறுட்டின வேறுட்டில பீக்சிக்கொண்டு விடுதலை செய்த பெரிய கொமண்டெர் இவர். 

 

Among the men were (1) Varadaraja Perumal, who later became Chief Minister of the North-Eastern Council; (2) Padmanabha, the Chief of EPRLF, who was killed, along with 13 others in Madras city in 1990, and (3) the self-styled ‘General’ Douglas, the ‘Chief of Staff’ of the PLA. The men were picked up for questioning, leaving the women behind.

 

They were taken to a big hotel and comfortably accomodated. Then the grilling began, with only 10 hourse left for the threatened execution of the Allen couple. They denied any knowledge but, when confronted with the names of the detainees whose release was demanded, they admitted that they belonged to the PLA. But they contended that their followers could have acted on their own.

 

When the questioning did not yield any information beyond this, I myself went to the hotel and, in typical dramatic style, told them that whatever happened to the Allen couple in Jaffna would happen to them right in the hotel room. ‘If they are shot’, I told them, ‘you will be shot right in this room. If they are released, you will be released.’ With four hours to go for the threatened killing of the Allens, mine was purely a psychological bluff. It worked and ‘General’ Douglas got in touch with his contact in Jaffna right from the hotel room and ordered the Allens’ release in coded words.

ஒமோம் அனுபவம் இவருக்கு சிறந்த ஆசான். இவரும் இவருடைய கூட்டமும் தமிழர் புனர்வாழ்வு கழக தொண்டர்களை கடத்தி ஆண்களை சுட்டுவிட்து பிரெமினியை குழுவாக கட்பபளித்த்து பின்னர் அவளை வெட்டி கொலை செய்த கதை இதோ. இந்த தொண்டர்களை விடுவிக்க போராட்தம் நடத்தியவர்களில் நானும் ஒருவன். இந்த தொண்டர்கள் புலம் பெயர் நாடுகளில் வேலை எங்கள் போன்ற தொண்டர்களுடன் தொடர்பில் இருந்து அந்த மக்களுக்கு பல இன்னல்களுக்கும் மத்தியில் வேலை செய்தவர்கள். இவரும் இவரின் கூட்டமும் செய்த அட்டோழியங்கள் சர்வதேசம் வரை வரும். அது தான் கூவுகிறார். கூவும் கூவும். அனுபவிக்கின்ற காலம் வரும். அது வரை கூவும்.

The four males were then given rice to eat and tea to drink. Afterwards they were blindfolded and put in a pick – up. It was driven into the interior. The men were then forced to walk into the jungle blind- folded.. The blindfolds were removed and they were asked to dig a huge pit. When it was over the weeping men were lined up and shot. TMVP cadres quickly covered up the grave.

The fate of Premini was terrible. The dusky woman with attractive features and a slight squint was taken to another camp and raped first by Sinthujan himself. Threafter it was a horrible gang rape with TMVP cadres taking turns to sexually assault her. Fourteen cadres raped the poor girl. Some troubled TMVP cadres did not participate in the rape but were powerless to stop it.

Premini was heard to shout and cry at the start. Later she merely sobbed and whimpered. Premini was taken out before dawn by TMVP cadres to the jungles. She walked like a “nadaipinam” (walking corpse) without crying or showing signs of emotion said one ex – TMVP cadre. She was apparently hacked to death and thrown into the bushes.

அவர் அப்படிதான் கதைப்பார். இயக்கத்தில் இருக்கும் பொழுது தனது அதிகாரத்திற்காக 'படுவான்கரை', 'Colony' பகுதிகளில் ஆயிரக் கணக்கில் விதவைகளை, ஏழ்மையை உருவாக்கியவர். இருந்தாலும் தனது மகளை London இல் தனியார் பள்ளியில் படிப்பித்து மருத்துவராக்க முயல்வதை பாராட்டாமல் இருக்க முடியவில்லை.

புலி கடத்தினால் அது நியாயமாகத்தான் இருக்கும் .

இந்த அரசியல் தான் எம்மை இந்தநிலைக்கு கொண்டுவந்து விட்டிருக்கு ?

 

இசைபிரியாவிற்கு நடந்தது மிகப்பெரும் கொடுமை ஆனால் ரஜனியை போட்டதையும் செல்வியை கடத்தி கதையை முடித்தையும் கண்டுகொள்ளாமல் விட்ட எமது அரசியல் தான் எம்மை காவு கொண்டது .

ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக விசாரிக்கப்படும் போது 1952 இல் இருந்து விசாரிக்கும் போது புலிகள் நிராபராதிகளாக நிற்கக் கூடிய நிலையே அதிகம் உள்ளது..! நல்லா விசாரிக்கட்டும். ஆனால் விசாரணைகள் சுயாதீனமாக.. வெளிப்படைத் தன்மை கொண்டதாக.. நீதியானதாக.. பக்கச்சார்பற்ற சர்வதே மத்தியஸ்தஸ்துடன்.. இருந்தால் மட்டுமே அது சாத்தியம். புலிகள் தண்டிக்கப்படும் போது சிங்களத் தலைமைகள்.. இந்தியத் தலைமைகள்.. ஒட்டுக்குழு தலைமைகள்.. சில சர்வதேசத் தலைமைகள்.. தப்பிக்க வாய்ப்பில்லை..!
