At the height of a show of ‘victor's supremacy’ in the country of Eezham Tamils, a 17-year-old Tamil boy, S. Krishnakumar of Kumaarasaami-puram village in Visuvamadu in Mullaith-theevu district, was shot and fatally injured by the occupying Sinhala military, for his cattle damaging the ‘Vesak’ decorations commemorating 2600 years of Buddha at an SL military camp. When the injured boy was taken to the hospital, passing through the prevailing hurdles in the district, the occupying SL military took charge of the boy to be sent to Anuradhapura hospital by helicopter, but after warning his family members that the matter should not be revealed to anyone. The boy was herding his cattle on Monday evening when he was shot.

The Sinhala government agent of Mannaar district chose that day to issue an order to build a Buddhist temple in the precincts of a major Saiva-centre at Thirukkeatheesvaram in the Mannaar district.

இவ்வாறு மேலும் நிகழாது நிரந்தரமாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்றால் புலம்பெயர்தேசங்களில் எமது போராட்டங்களை தீவிரப்படுத்தி ஸ்ரீலங்கா அரச பயங்கரவாதிகளுக்கு தண்டனை வாங்கி கொடுக்கவேண்டும் .

சில நாட்களுக்கு முன்னர் விசுவமடுப் பகுதியில் இராணுவத்தினர் அமைத்திருந்த வெசாக்கூடு ஒன்று மாடு ஒன்றினால் சேதப்படுத்தியிருக்கின்றது. இதனால் ஆத்திரமடைந்த இராணுவத்தினர் அந்த மாட்டினை மேய்த்துவந்ததாக இளைஞர் ஒருவர் மீது துப்பாக்கிப்பிரயோகம் மேற்கொண்டிருக்கின்றார்.

சம்பவத்தில் குறித்த இளைஞர் படுகாயம் அடைந்திருக்கின்றார். அவரை மேலதிக சிகிச்சைக்காக உலங்குவானூர்தி மூலம் அனுராதபுரம் வைத்தியசாலைக்குக் கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டிருப்பதாகத் தெரியவருகின்றது.

குறித்த இளைஞர் உயிர்தப்பித்தால் சம்பவம் தொடர்பிலான தகவல்கள் வெளிவரக்கூடும் என்ற அச்ச நிலையினாலேயே அவரை இராணுவத்தினர் அனுராதபுரம் வைத்தியசாலைக்குக் கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டிருப்பதாகவும், இதனால் அவருக்கு உயிர் அச்சுறுத்தல் ஏற்படும் அபயாம் இருப்பதாகவும் இளைஞரின் உறவினர்கள் சந்தேகம் வெளியிட்டிருக்கின்றனர்.
