வெள்ளைக்கொடி விவகாரத்தில் இலங்கை அரசு பல சுத்துமாத்துக்களை செய்திருந்தது. இதில் உண்மையைக் கூற வந்த பொன்சேக்கா, நீதி மன்றத்தில் விசாரிக்கப் பட்டு, பொய்கூறியதாக சிறையில் தள்ளப்பட்டு, வெளிவிடப்பட்டிருக்கிறார். வெளியில் வந்தவர் தான் சொன்னவற்றை முண்டி விழுங்குகிறார் .பொன்சேக்காவின் செவ்வியை வெளிவிட்ட இலங்கையின் பத்திரிகை ஆசிரியை உயிர் பயத்தில் உலாவுகிறார். இது, இலங்கை தனக்கு உதவிய ஐ.நா அதிகாரிகளை காப்பாற்ற தன் பக்கத்தில் ஆடும் நாடகம். வெளியே வந்தவர் ஐ.நா அதிகாரிகளின் பொய்களுக்கு சாட்சியமாக்கப் பட்டுவிட்டார்.

இந்த புதிய சாட்சியின் சாதகத்தையும் ஒன்றாக பாவித்து ஐ.நா பக்கத்தில், நடக்கும் நாடகம் தான் இந்த புதிய விசாரணை. நம்பியார் என்ற அதிகாரி பலமுறை தன்மீது சாட்டப்பட்ட குற்றங்களுக்கு பதில் அளிக்காமல் ஒளித்திருந்தார். ஆனால் வெள்ளைக்கொடி விவகாரத்தில் இவருடன் தொடர்பிலிருந்த மேரி கொலின் அம்மையாரில் இறப்பின் போது, தன்னையே தான் காட்டிக்கொடுப்பது போலவே, மேரிகொலின் அம்மாயாரின் இறப்புக்கு எல்லோரும் இரங்கல் தெரிவிக்கும் போது, நம்பியார் மட்டும் வெளியே வந்து தனது வெள்ளையை நிரூபிக்க முயன்றார். இந்த அதிகாரியின் அப்பா குதிருக்குள் இல்லை என்ற நடத்தைக்கு, ஐ.நா அதிகாரிகள் நியாமானமானவர்களாக இருந்திருந்தால், அவரின் நடத்தையை கண்டு பிடிக்க, குதிரைத்தான் முதலில் தேடியிருந்திருக்க வேண்டும். அதை விடுத்து "அப்பா குதிருக்குள் இருக்கிறாரா இல்லையா?" என்று பையனிடம் திரும்பவும் கேட்டால், அவன் தொடர்ந்து "இல்லை" என்றுதான் பதில் அளிக்கப் போகிறான். குற்றம் நடந்த இடத்தில் சென்று விசாரித்து குற்றம் நடந்தது என்றதை நிலை நிறுத்த ஆர்வம் இல்லாத ஐ.நா அகாரிகள் எப்படி குற்றத்தை மறைக்க ஐ.நா அதியகாரிகள் துணை போனதை வெளிக்கொணரப்போகிறார்கள். மேரி அம்மையார் இறக்கும் வரை மறைந்திருந்த நம்ம்பியாரின் நடத்தைகளை நியாப்படுத்தவா, இவ்வளவு காலமும் பொறுத்திருந்தவர்கள், அவரின் இறப்பின் பின், இப்போது இதை தூசி தட்டி எடுக்க முன் வருவது?

The two u-tubes from Tamil Nadu, attached below, give you a clear account of the criminality committed by the Indian leaders on the Eelam Tamils during the Mullivaaikkal Genocide. The prominent characters among them were the Bengali minister, Pranab Mukherjee and the Keralite mafias. Extremely stone hearted these people must have been to aid the blood thirsty Sinhalese to commit such a heinous crime. They can’t claim ignorance when satellite pictures must have revealed to them the extent of the slaughter that was going on; yet they proceeded on aiding the genocide.

At the height of the genocide the UNHRC chief, Navi Pillay, being fully aware of the unfolding tragedy in Eelam rushed to Delhi to get Manmohan Singh to use India’s influence to stop the war and save the victims. Her vehement insistence infuriated the Indian Prime Minister, who responded by telling her not to assume more powers than what the UN Secretary General ever possessed. When she was returning after her unsuccessful mission, she remarked whether the country she visited was Mahatma Gandhi’s India.

Karunanidhi’s collusion and drama during this period is fully exposed and so was the silent media. No wonder Ram of the Hindu received the highest Sri Lankan national award from Rajapaksa. What was the service he rendered and how much Tamil blood money did he receive for his criminal involvement? The Sinhalese spent millions of rupees on most of the media in Tamil Nadu.

If the Indians had expected the Sinhalese leaders to be silent on the assistance given by them and be eternally grateful to them, they were sadly mistaken. At UN, 7 Big Media Name Board to Investigate & Expel ICP(Inner City Press), Conflicts Abound

One of the few specified charged against Inner City Press is "report[ing] on confidential committee discussions about [its] behavior." These had in fact been discussions of or demand for censorship. At least four times, UNCA leadership have demanded that Inner City Press take material off the Internet: twice involving Sri Lanka and France.

Witcher accused Inner City Press of using overheard information, and demanded that UNCA censure Inner City Press, which it did in an email to all members that Inner City Press was not allowed to reply to. Since then, Ladsous has on camera refused to answer Inner City Press' questions about cholera in Haiti and about Sri Lanka, saying "Well, Mister, I will start answering your questions when you stop insulting me and making malicious and insulting insinuations." The UNCA Executive Committee did NOTHING to support the right to an answer at the UN, even omitting the entire issue from its sanitized Party-controlled minutes. Sri Lanka, whose Permanent Representative Palitha Kohona paid rent to Pioli, not only asked and got Pioli's permission to screen inside the UN a rebuttal to UK Channel 4's "Killing Fields" film documenting war crimes - it also wrote to Pioli and other Executive Committee members asking that they censure Inner City Press from reporting on General Shavendra Silva serving on Ban Ki-moon's Senior Advisory Group on Peacekeeping Operations.["]The UNCA Executive Committee not only did not support Inner City Press - it allowed itself to be cited in support of excluding ANY Press coverage of the SAG meetings to see if Silva attended. It was then that Pioli's prior financial relationship with Sri Lankan ambassador Kohona, when he worked in the UN Office of Legal Affairs, again became relevant. Inner City Press reported on it, and Pioli pushed the proceeding to expel Inner City Press. ]It seems obvious that this "Board of Examination," which Al-Haj demanded "investigate" Inner City Press' stories and so sources, must produce a written report that must be made public.

UN Move to Expel ICP Led by 5 Big Media, For Ban Ki-moon, France, Lanka

UNITED NATIONS, May 29 -- Four hours after UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's Peacekeeping chief Herve Ladsous refused on camera to answer Inner City Press' questions about documented charges that his Department introduced cholera into Haiti, and has Sri Lanka alleged war criminal general Shavendra Silva as an adviser, representatives of five media organizations presented charges to eject Inner City Press. Video of Ladsous' refusal to answer is here, Minute 28:10.The subsequently disclosed five signers of the charge letter to set up a "board of examination" to "investigate" Inner City Press with the goal of expelling the Press include not only Louis Charbonneau of Reuters and Timothy Witcher of Agence France Presse (as explained below, a major Ladsous supporter or tool). Now they have expanded to five, with Flavia Krause-Jackson of Bloomberg, Talal Al-Haj of Al-Arabia and Margaret Besheer of Voice of America, the Treasurer of UNCA who was not present for Tuesday afternoon's move toward expulsion. Despite not hearing the defense, "proxy" votes by Besheer, Masood Haider reportedly of Pakistan's Daily Dawn and seemingly others were counted against Inner City PressBesheer has previously rebuked Inner City Press to write "more positively" about the UN, while devoting much focus to the British and other royals. So here it is.But UNCA First Vice President Louis Charbonneau filed a complaint with the UN's Media Accreditation and Liaison Unit saying Inner City Press is "making it very hard for me and others in the UN press to do our jobs."Charbonneau sent copies of his complaint to MALU against Inner City Press to UNCA Treasurer Margaret Basheer of Voice of America, Timothy Witcher of Agence France Presse (who previously used UNCA against Inner City Press after ICP reported that Herve Ladsous was at best Nicolas Sarkozy's second choice for the French position atop UN Peacekeeping) and UNCA President Giampaolo Pioli]Inner City Press asked Charbonneau why he sent a copy of his MALU complaint also to Witcher, who is not an officer of UNCA. Charbonneau replied, I don't need to tell you that. Apparently there are other things he feels he and Reuters don't need to do, such as giving credit when stealing the exclusives of other, smaller media. As previously reported, Charbonneau and Reuters used without credit Inner City Press' exclusive March 28 report that US official Jeffrey Feltman would come to head the UN Department of Political Affairs.

By contrast, Foreign Policy's "The Cable" credited Inner City Press. When asked about it, Charbonneau said for a year he has had a policy or practice of not crediting Inner City Press. He repeated Tuesday, we don't have to give credit, it's just a courtesy. Repeated inquiries with Reuters if this is an acceptable policy have gone unanswered, by "ethics" chief Greg McCune up to Reuters CEO James C. Smith. Perhaps they just hope Charbonneau succeeds in expelling Inner City Press. Bloomberg, specifically Flavia Krause-Jackson, previously reported without any credit Inner City Press' exclusive expose that 14 kilograms of cocaine was found in the UN mailroom (her defense is that once the UN held a 6 pm press conference responding to Inner City Press' story and questions at noon, she and Bloomberg didn't have to give any credit). AFP also stole the story, as did some other chargers and supporters, Tuesday voters.

During Tuesday's meeting, Al-Arabiya's Al-Haj complained that a week before one of Inner City Press' many stories about UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay getting cut from a four to two year extension by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, he had reported on the topic on television in Arabic. He said he saw the Inner City Press report but didn't come to seek credit.

Well, no - it is a report of facts, suggesting that Pioli should have recused himself from unilaterally scheduling an UNCA screening of the Sri Lankan government's genocide denial film after accepting rent money from Sri Lanka's Ambassador, even seven or eight years ago.There was no answer when Inner City Press gave the example of another government facing more politically powerful charges of genocide. If they paid rent to an UNCA official and then screened their genocide denial in UNCA's space in the UN, it would certainly be reported. [But the UNCA Executive Committee members appear like many others not to care much about the Sri Lanka genocide issue, of over 40,000 civilians killed in May 2009. Smaller but somehow more important numbers motivate them and their media.Before the vote, Pioli suggested that the solution was for Inner City Press to file a complaint with MALU against Charbonneau of Reuters.
