லண்டனில் உள்ள flat in Tooting, south London என்ற இடத்தில் Vanessa Barrows என்ற பெண், தனது நண்பர்களுக்கு மதுவிருந்து நடத்தியுள்ளார். சுமார் 10 மணிநேரம் நடந்த இந்த மதுவிருந்தில் அவருடன் ஆண், மற்றும் பெண் நண்பர்கள் ஏராளமானோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

இந்த மதுவிருந்தில் Thomas Evans என்ற 32 வயது நண்பரும் கலந்து கொண்டார். மதுவிருந்து முடிந்த பின்னர் மிகுந்த போதை காரணமாக அங்கேயே சிலர் தங்கிவிட்டனர். இதில் Thomas Evans என்பவரும் ஒருவர். நடு இரவில் கண்விழித்த ஒரு பெண் நண்பர், Thomas Evans நெற்றியில் விளையாட்டிற்காக ஆண் உறுப்பு படத்தை Thomas Evans தனது லிப்ஸ்டிக்கால் வரைந்து விட்டு சென்றுவிட்டார்.

காலையில் கண்விழித்து பார்த்த Thomas Evans, தனது நெற்றியில் ஆணுறுப்பு படத்தை பார்த்து அதிர்ந்து போனார். அவருடைய நண்பர்கள் அந்த படத்தை பார்த்து அவரை கேலி செய்தனர். இந்நிலையில் கேலி செய்த  Anthony Thompson என்ற நண்பரை  Thomas Evans கோபத்தில் முகத்தில் ஓங்கி குத்தியுள்ளார். இதில் நிலைகுலைந்த Anthony Thompson மூளையில் ஏற்பட்ட அதிர்ச்சியில் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயெ மரணம் அடைந்தார். ஜாலியாக ஆரம்பித்த மதுவிருந்து இறுதியில் கொலையில் முடிந்தது.

A partygoer was killed by a single punch after waking up to find a penis had been drawn on his face, the Old Bailey has heard.

Anthony Thompson, 26, died after being punched to the ground by DJ Thomas Evans, 32, outside a flat in Tooting, south London.

He suffered brain damage after his head struck the floor following an all-night party in February last year.

Mr Evans denies manslaughter, claiming he was acting in self-defence after Mr Thompson was heard boasting: ‘I can knock any one of you blokes out.’

Vanessa Barrows, who was hosting the party, said everyone was enjoying themselves and Thompson had fallen asleep in an armchair.

She added: ‘I got my lipstick out and drew a penis on his face. It was done for a laugh.’

Peter Clement, prosecuting, said that when Thompson woke up he seemed to take the drawing on his face in ‘good spirits’.

Ms Barrows also nodded off and woke to find a row going on after the ‘boy banter’ got out of hand. She found Mr Thompson on the ground when she got downstairs.

‘It was just silly boy banter between Anthony and Tom,’ she said.

‘Anthony was saying about who was stronger than who. It was a joke. They were friends.’
