முள்ளிவாய்க்கால் இறுதிக்கட்ட போரில் தமிழ் மக்கள் உயிர்காக்க அளப்பரிய சேவையாற்றி இறுதியில் சிங்களப் படைகளிடம் சிக்கி சிறை இருந்து பின் சிங்கள அரசின் பொய் பிரச்சாரத்துக்கு பயன்படுத்தப்பட்ட முக்கிய 3 தொடக்கம் 5 தமிழ் வைத்தியர்களில் ஒருவரும் தற்போது அமெரிக்காவில் தஞ்சம் அடைந்திருப்பவருமான வைத்தியர். வரதராஜா அவர்களே இந்திய தொலைக்காட்சி ஊடகம் ஒன்றிற்கு வழங்கிய உள்ள நேர்காணலில் இத்தகவலைத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

 

 

Colombo forced Tamil doctors to lie: Dr. Varatharajah

Former Regional Director of Health Services (RDHS) for Mullaiththeevu, Dr. Thurairajah Varatharajah, currently in exile in the U.S, says in video documentary aired in South India's NewsX TV station that Colombo, after keeping him and four other doctors in prison at the end of the war, forced the doctors to lie to foreign media and to the Organizations accusing Sri Lanka of allegations of committing war-crimes to neutralize the allegations. Dr Varatharajah said that living under such conditions had become unbearable that he had to seek ways to get out of Sri Lanka with his family. The doctors were accused by Colombo of giving false accounts of civilian deaths during the war, and were forced to recant the figures in a well publicized news conference. Dr Varatharajah, said he is talking voluntarily to set the record straight now that he does not have to fear for his life.

எனக்கு ஒரு ஆசை வாழ்க்கையில் தமிழர்களுக்கே என்று ஒரு தனித்துவமான விருது இருக்கும் என்றால் கடைசி நேரம் குறைந்த வளத்தோடு முள்ளி வாய்க்காலில் கடமையாற்றிய அந்த 3 , 4 வைத்தியர்களுக்கும் தான் அதை முதலில் கொடுக்க வேண்டும் வைத்திய சேவைக்கே உதாரணமாக திகழ்ந்த உத்தமர்கள் அவர்கள்

வைத்தியர்கள், தாதிமார்கள், ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் ஆம்புலன்ஸ் போல் செயல்பட்ட பொதுமக்கள் இவர்கள் எப்போதும் கௌரவிக்கபட வேண்டியவர்கள்

ஆரம்பதில் கூட இவர்கள் உண்மை தான் சொன்னார்கள். பின்னர் இராணுவத்தால் பொய் கூற வைக்கப்பட்டார்கள்.குறிப்பாக புலிகள் இறந்தவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையை அதிகமாக சொல்ல சொன்னது என்பது.
