ராஜதந்திரிகள் இலக்கு வைக்கப்படுகின்றார்களா? கேடயமாக பயன்படுத்தப்படுகின்றனரா?-விதுரன்-

மட்டக்களப்பில் முழு அளவில் போர் நடைபெறுகிறது. தினமும் பலர் கொல்லப்படுகின்றனர். புலிகளின் பகுதிகளை நோக்கி அனைத்து படை முகாம்களிலிருந்தும் கடும் ஷெல் மற்றும் பல் குழல் ரொக்கட் தாக்குதல் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. தினமும் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான மக்கள் இடம்பெயர்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் சூழ்நிலையில் தான், யுத்த முனைப்பகுதிக்கு இராஜதந்திரிகள் கூட்டிச் செல்லப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

கிழக்கை விடுதலைப் புலிகள் வசமிருந்து முழுமையாகக் கைப்பற்றி விடுவோமெனக் கூறிவரும் அரசும் படைத்தரப்பும் தினமும் அங்கு படை நடவடிக்கையில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளன. வாகரை மற்றும் அதனோடிணைந்த பகுதிகளைக் கைப்பற்றிய பின்னர் மட்டக்களப்பில் புலிகள் வசமுள்ள ஏனைய பகுதிகளை நோக்கி தினமும் தாக்குதல் நடத்தப்படுகிறது.

மட்டக்களப்பில் படை முகாம்களிலிருந்து மட்டுமல்ல தெற்கிலிருந்து சென்றும் விமானப் படை விமானங்கள் தினமும் குண்டுத் தாக்குதலை நடத்தி வருகின்றன. எவ்வேளையிலும் எதுவும் நடைபெறலாமென்ற சூழ்நிலையில், இந்தத் தாக்குதலிலிருந்து தப்புவதற்காக தினமும் மக்கள் இடம்பெயர்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் பிரதேசமே மட்டக்களப்பு.

இந்தப் பகுதிக்கு கடந்த வாரம் கொழும்பிலுள்ள வெளிநாட்டு இராஜதந்திரிகள் பலர் எதுவித முன்னறிவிப்புமின்றி அமைச்சர் ஒருவரால் அழைத்துச் செல்லப்பட்டுள்ளனர். யுத்தப் பிரதேசங்களுக்கு வெளிநாட்டு இராஜதந்திரிகளோ அல்லது அரச சார்பற்ற நிறுவனங்களின் பிரதிநிதிகளோ அழைத்துச் செல்லப்படுகையில் அது குறித்து முன்கூட்டியே புலிகளுக்கு தெரியப்படுத்தும் ஒரு நடைமுறை அமுலிலுள்ளது.

ஆனால் கடந்த வாரம் மட்டக்களப்புக்கு, அதுவும் தினமும் புலிகளின் தாக்தலுக்கிலக்காகும் இராணுவ தலைமையகத்திற்கு இராணுவ ஹெலிகொப்டரில் அவர்கள் அழைத்துச் செல்லப்படுவது பற்றி புலிகளுக்கு எதுவும் தெரிவிக்கப்படவில்லை. இது பல்வேறு கேள்விகளையும் எழுப்பியுள்ளது.

வடக்கில் இடையிடையே தாக்குதலுக்கிலக்காகும் பலாலி இராணுவத் தளம் அமைந்துள்ள பகுதியிலேயே விமான நிலையமுமிருப்பதாலும் குடாநாட்டில் தினமும் கெரில்லா பாணியிலான தாக்குதல் நடைபெறுவதாலும் அங்கு இராஜதந்திரிகளும் சர்வதேச அரச சார்பற்ற நிறுவனங்களின் பிரதிநிதிகளும் அழைத்துச் செல்லப்படுகையில் இது குறித்து புலிகளுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்படுவது வழமை.

அப்படியிருக்கையில், பாரிய படைநகர்வு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வரும் மட்டக்களப்பில் பல இராஜதந்திரிகள் அமைச்சர் ஒருவருடன் விஜயம் செய்த போது அதுபற்றி ஏன் புலிகளுக்கு அறிவிக்கவில்லை என்ற கேள்வி எழுப்பப்படுகிறது.

கிழக்கிலிருந்து பெரும்பாலும் புலிகளை விரட்டி விட்டோம். இனி அவர்கள் பற்றி கவலைகொள்ளத் தேவையில்லையென மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வரும் பிரசாரத்தால் ஏற்பட்ட அலட்சியமா? அல்லது இராஜதந்திரிகளின் விஜயத்தின் போது ஏதாவது அசம்பாவிதம் ஏற்பட்டால் அதனைப் பயன்படுத்தி புலிகளுக்கெதிராக பெரும் பிரசாரத்தை மேற்கொள்ளலாமென்ற தந்திரமா? அல்லது இராஜதந்திரிகளையும் பணயம் வைக்கும் நோக்கமா? என்ற கேள்வியும் எழுகிறது.

மட்டக்களப்பில் சகல படைத்தளங்களிலிருந்தும் தினமும் புலிகளின் கட்டுப்பாட்டுப் பகுதிகளை நோக்கி கடும் ஷெல் தாக்குதலும் பல்குழல் ரொக்கட் தாக்குதலும் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. மட்டக்களப்பு மாவட்டத்தில் 23-3 ஆவது படையணியின் கட்டளைத் தலைமையகம் வெபர் விளையாட்டு அரங்கிலேயே உள்ளது. இங்கிருந்தும் தினமும் புலிகளின் கட்டுப்பாட்டுப் பகுதிகளை நோக்கி கடும் ஷெல் தாக்குதல் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருவது அனைவரும் அறிந்ததே.

இந்த வெபர் அரங்கிலிருந்து சுமார் ஒன்றரை கிலோமீற்றர் தூரத்தில் புதூர் என்னுமிடத்திலேயே விமானப் படைத் தளமுள்ளது. எனினும் மட்டக்களப்புக்கு வரும் ஹெலிகொப்டர்கள் எல்லாம் வெபர் அரங்கிலேயே தரையிறங்கும். வெபர் அரங்கு நகரின் மத்தியிலிருப்பதால் புலிகள் இங்கு தாக்குதலை நடத்த சற்று யோசிப்பாரென படைத்தரப்பு கருதி வந்தது.

ஆனாலும் புலிகளின் ஷெல் தாக்குதல் இந்தப் படையணித் தலைமையகத்தை அடிக்கடி பதம் பார்த்து வந்த நிலையிலேயே கடந்த வாரம் இந்தச் சம்பவம் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. எதுவித முன்னறிவித்தலுமின்றி கடந்த திங்கட்கிழமை காலை இங்கு ஹெலிகொப்டர்களில் வெளிநாட்டு இராஜதந்திரிகள் பலர் அழைத்த வரப்பட்ட போது புலிகளின் ஷெல் தாக்குதல் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது.

முதல் ஹெலிகொப்டர் அங்கு வந்து தரையிறங்கிய ஒரு சில நிமிடத்தில் 2 ஆவது ஹெலிகொப்டர் அங்கு தரையிறங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த போது அடுத்தடுத்து சில ஷெல்கள் அப்பகுதியில் வந்து வீழ்ந்துள்ளன. இதில் ஒரு ஷெல், ஹெலிகொப்டர் தரையிறங்கிய இடத்திலிருந்து சுமார் 50 மீற்றர் தூரத்தில் வீழ்ந்து வெடித்துள்ளது.

இதையடுத்து, அங்கு தரையிறங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த 2 ஆவது ஹெலிகொப்டர் தரையிறங்காது மேலெழுந்து சென்று வேறோரிடத்தில் தரையிறங்கியுள்ளது. இந்த ஷெல் தாக்குதலில் இத்தாலிய தூதர் தலையில் சிறிய காயமடைந்தார். ஏனைய இராஜதந்திரிகள் மயிரிழையில் உயிர் தப்பியுள்ளனர்.

பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகள் தொடர்பாக கிளிநொச்சியில் புலிகளுடன் தொடர்புகளை ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக இருக்கும் ஐ.நா. அதிகாரியொருவர் இது குறித்து புலிகளின் தலைவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கவே நிலைமையை உணர்ந்து புலிகள் ஷெல் தாக்குதலை உடனடியாக நிறுத்தியுள்ளனர். இல்லையேல் நிலைமை மிக மோசமாயிருந்திருக்கலாம்.

இந்தத் தாக்குதலை இலங்கை அரசும் படைத்தரப்பும் மிக வன்மையாகக் கண்டித்தன. இராஜதந்திரிகள் தான் வருகிறார்களென்பதை அறிந்தும் அவர்களுக்கு உயிராபத்து ஏற்படுத்தும் நோக்கிலேயே புலிகள் இந்தச் ஷெல் தாக்குதலை நடத்தியதாகவும் அரசு கடுமையாகக் கண்டித்தது. எனினும், இராஜதந்திரிகளின் மட்டக்களப்பு விஜயம் தொடர்பாக தாங்கள் புலிகளுக்கு அறிவித்திருந்தார்களா என்பது பற்றி எதனையும் அரசு குறிப்பிடவில்லை.

இந்தச் சம்பவத்தை புலிகளுக்கெதிராக பெரும் பிரசாரமாக்கும் முயற்சியில் அரசு உடனடியாக இறங்கியது. உலக நாடுகளுக்கெல்லாம் இதுபற்றித் தெரிவித்து புலிகளின் பயங்கரவாதம் இன்று சர்வதேச இராஜதந்திரிகளையும் விட்டு வைக்கவில்லையென்றும் கூறியது.

இதேநேரம், இந்தச் சம்பவத்துக்கு மிகவும் வருத்தம் தெரிவித்த புலிகள், இவ்வாறானதொரு சம்பவம் உருவாகக் காரணமாயிருந்த இலங்கை அரசின் மீது கடும் குற்றச்சாட்டையும் சுமத்தினர். இராஜதந்திரிகளின் விடயத்தில் வழமையாகவும் பொதுவாகவும் பின்பற்றப்படும் நடைமுறைகளை கடைப்பிடிக்கத் தவறி அவர்களின் உயிர்களை பேராபத்துக்குள் சிக்கவைக்க அரசு முயல்வதாகவும் கண்டித்தனர்.

ஆத்திரமூட்டும் வகையில் ஷெல் மற்றும் ரொக்கட் தாக்குதல்கள் நடைபெறும் தற்போதைய போர்ச் சூழலில், இராஜதந்திரிகளை ஷெல் மற்றும் ரொக்கட் ஏவுதளப் பகுதிக்கு கூட்டி வருமளவிற்கு அவர்களது பாதுகாப்பில் கவனயீனமாகவும் பொறுப்பற்ற விதத்திலும் இலங்கை அரசு செயற்பட்ட விதம் தங்களை பேரதிர்ச்சிக்குள்ளாக்குவதா

இராஜதந்திரிகளின் மட்டக்களப்பு பயணம் விடுதலைப் புலிகளுக்கு தெரிந்து தான் தாக்குதலை நடத்தியதாக அரச தரப்பினர் கூறி வருகின்றனர். ஆனால் இராஜதந்திரிகளை குறிவைத்து விடுதலைப் புலிகள் தாக்குதலை நடத்தியதாக தான் நம்பவில்லை எனவும், எனினும் விடுதலைப் புலிகள் பயங்கரவாத நடவடிக்கைகளை கைவிட வேண்டும் என அமெரிக்கா கேட்டுக்கொள்வதாகவும் இணைத்தலைமை நாடுகளின் தலைவரும் அமெரிக்கத் தூதுவருமான றொபேட் ஓ பிளேக் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

This clearly shows that they purposly let the helicoptor land in the area where shelling was going on. Acutally it seems that SL government wanted some diplomats to be killed in the incidents so that they can beg more money for war. The sad part is, I don't see any news in english. We have only Tamilnet which put its own news all the others are just provide the links. It should bring these kind of news immediately. Even Ilanthirayan just mention that "The LTTE was responding to hostile artillery and mortar attacks Tuesday morning" he didn't highlight that there was shelling even before they landed. Similar kind of incident happened to the media people in Muhamalai months before. Ilanthirayan could have mentioned that also to show that the SL gov used to do these kind of tactics for its propaganda purpose.

Recently the international medis like AFP, Reuters started to put LTTE news releases. Before they put just boldly that they denied it. We have to use every opportunity available to expose the true face of SL gov.

Howmany people in this forum know that LTTE is the one first declared ceasfire ? When was the last time any LTTE spokesperson (Tamilchelvan or ilamthirian) highlited this? International media put any rubbish that SL gov. relases to the media because it is a recoganised body. We don't have that opportunity and we have to use it 100% when ever it is available. Believe it or not now a days most of the politicians, gov. spokespersons, columists google(search) first before they deliver a speech or write an article etc etc. So it is important that we have a effective english reporting media and also search (google) friendly. If you search "Tamil" at google news, our news media not even within first 10 results. This is a very bad situation. We have enough tamil news reporting webs but not in english. 98% of our people knows our problem and gets the news by other means. But the for other people it has to be seen by them, it has to catch their eyes.

Govt. responds to Blake’s comment

Responding to US Ambassador Robert O. Blake’s comment that he did not believe the LTTE intended to target the diplomats when it shelled the Webber ground on Wednesday, the government yesterday reiterated it had enough evidence to prove that the Tigers had deliberately targeted the diplomats.

It was obvious, the Tigers intentionally targeted the visiting diplomats as they did in earlier occasions, Government Defence Spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella said.

Referring to the assassination of the former Indian Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi, Minister Rambukwella said the Tigers rejected the allegation initially, but after ten-years, publicly admitted it.Whenever any incident takes place, the Tigers voice their innocence,” the Minister said.

He also claimed that a few months ago, a media team travelling in the Muhamalai area in Jaffna was targeted by the Tigers, but it blamed the attack on the Government saying it failed to inform them about the visit.

Ambassador Blake was speaking to the Sunday Times newspaper, which asked him whether he (Blake) was satisfied with the LTTE’s explanation that the mortar attack was a mistake.
