நார்வேயின் மற்றொரு முகம்?

ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனுக்கு இரண்டு முகங்கள் உண்டு, அதில் ஒன்றைத்தான் சமூகத்திற்குக் காட்டுகின்றான், மற்றொரு முகத்தை மறைக்கின்றான். அதற்காக அவன் படும்பாடு கூட ஒரு போராட்டமாகிறது” என்று ‘அள்ளித் தந்த வானம்’ எனும் திரைப்படத்தில் ஒரு வசனம் வரும். அதனை அந்தப் படத்தில் வில்லனாக நடித்த பிரகாஷ் ராஜ் பேசுவார்.

சிறிலங்க அதிபர் மகிந்த ராஜபக்சவை சந்தித்தப் பிறகு நார்வே அந்த நாட்டின் அயல் உறவு மேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சர் எரிக் சோல்ஹீம் ஈழத் தமிழர்களுக்குக் கூறிய அறிவுரை அந்த வசனத்தைத்தான் நினைவிற்குக் கொண்டு வந்தது.

ஐ.நா.அவை இந்த புத்தாயிரமாண்டு பிறப்பின்போது வறுமையை ஒழிக்க நிர்ணயித்த புத்தாயிரமாண்டின் மேம்பாட்டு இலக்குகள் (Millennium Development Goals _ MDG) எந்த அளவிற்கு எட்டப்பட்டுள்ளன என்பது குறித்த மாநாட்டில் கலந்து கொள்ள நியூ யார்க் வந்துள்ள சிறிலங்க அதிபர் ராஜபக்சவை நார்வே பிரதமர் ஜென்ஸ் ஸ்டோல்டன்பர்க்கும், அயலுறவு மேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சர் எரிக் சோல்ஹீமும் சந்தித்துப் பேசியுள்ளனர்.

இந்த சந்திப்பின்போது, போரினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட வட கிழக்குப் பகுதிகளில் சாலைகள் போடுவது உள்ளிட்ட உள்கட்டமைப்புகளை மீண்டும் ஏற்படுத்தும் பணியில் சிறிலங்க அரசு ஈடுபட்டுள்ளது என்றும், அந்த பணியில் நார்வே அரசும் ஈடுபட வேண்டும் என்று அதிபர் மகிந்த ராஜபக்ச கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளார்.

அதுமட்டுமல்ல, ஹம்பன்தோட்டாவை மேம்படுத்தும் திட்டத்திற்கு முதன் முதலில் நார்வே உதவியதையும் அவர்களிடம் சுட்டிக்காட்டிய ராஜபக்ச, தற்போது நாட்டில் அமைதி நிலவுதால் சாலை கட்டமைப்பும், உள்கட்டுமானங்களும் மேம்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருவதாகவும் கூறியுள்ளார். இலங்கையில் நார்வே முதலீடு செய்வது குறித்து இரு தலைவர்களும் பேசினர் என்றும் இச்சந்திப்பு குறித்து பின்னர் செய்தியாளர்களிடம் விளக்கிய சிறிலங்க அதிபரின் ஊடக ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் விஜனந்த ஹெராத் கூறினார் என்று அச்செய்தி கூறுகிறது.

இதற்குப் பிறகு ஹெராத் கூறிய விடயங்கள்தான் நம்மை அதிர்ச்சிக்குள்ளாக்குகின்றன.

“அதிபருடன் நடந்த விவாதத்தில் கலந்து கொண்ட நார்வே அமைச்சர் எரிக் சோல்ஹீம், சிறிலங்க அரசு குறித்து புலம் பெயர்ந்த தமிழர்கள் கொண்டுள்ள கருத்து மாறவேண்டும். இப்போது உருவாகியுள்ள புதிய ஜனநாயகப் பாதையில், நாடாளுமன்றத்தின் வாயிலாக தங்கள் பிரச்சனைக்குத் தீர்வு காண முன்வர வேண்டும்” என்று கூறியுள்ளதாக ஹெராத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இது சிங்கள ஊடகங்களில் வந்துள்ள அதிகாரபூர்வமான செய்தியாகும். இது தவிர, எரிக் சோல்ஹீம் கூறியதாக கிடைக்கும் செய்திகள் மேலும் அதிர்ச்சியையும், ஆச்சரியத்தையும் அளிக்கின்றன.

“அதிபர் மகிந்த ராஜபக்ச சர்ச்சைக்குரிய ஒரு தலைவர்தான். ஆனால் மக்களால் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளப்பட்ட தலைவர். மக்களின் பேராதரவையும், அமோக வாக்குகளையும் தேர்தலில் பெற்று அதிபராகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மிகவும் செல்வாக்கான அரசியல் தலைவர் அவர் என்பதை மாற்றுக் கருத்துகளுக்கு அப்பால் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டி உள்ளது.

அதிபர் மகிந்த ராஜபக்சவும் நோர்வேயுடன் நல்லுறவை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொள்ள பேரார்வமாக உள்ளார். தமிழர் பிரச்சினைக்கு தீர்வு காணப்பட வேண்டும். அதிபர் ராஜ்பக்சவுடன் ஒத்துழைக்கின்றமையே அதற்கான ஒரேயொரு மார்க்கமாக உள்ளது. தமிழர்கள் எதிர்காலத்தைச் சிந்தித்து செயற்படுதல் வேண்டும். ஆட்சியில் இருப்பவர்களுடன் இணங்கி நடக்க வேண்டும்” என்று கூறியுள்ளதாகவும் சில ஊடகங்களில் செய்திகள் வந்துள்ளன.

இனப் படுகொலையை எப்படி மறப்பது?

சிறிலங்க அரசுடன் ‘நல்லுறவு’ ஏற்படுத்திக் கொள்ள நார்வே அரசு நினைத்தால் அதற்கு தமிழர்களோ மற்றவர்களோ குறுக்கே நிற்க முடியாது. அது அந்நாட்டின் வணிக, பொருளாதார தேவை நிமித்தமானதாக இருக்கலாம்.

அதே நேரத்தில் தமிழர்களுக்காக நின்ற நார்வேயை, அதே பொருளாதார காரணத்தைக் காட்டி தன் பக்கம் இழுக்க ராஜபக்ச முயற்சிப்பது அவருடைய தேர்ந்த இராஜதந்திரம் என்பதிலும் சந்தேகமில்லை.

ஆனால், இறுதிக் கட்டப்போரில் பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான தமிழர்கள் படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்டது குறித்து ஐ.நா. பொதுச் செயலர் விசாரணை நடத்த முற்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில், மனித உரிமை குறித்தும், ஈழத் தமிழர்களின் நியாயமான அரசியல் சம உரிமை குறித்தும் நியாயமான ஆதரவுப் போக்கை கடைபிடித்த நார்வே அரசு, இன்று தனது வசதிக்காக தமிழர்கள் ராஜபக்சவுடன் இணைந்து செயலாற்ற முன்வர வேண்டும் என்று கூறுவது எப்படி நியாயமாகும் என்று புரியவில்லை.

அரசியல் சம உரிமைப் பெற ஒரு நீண்ட நெடிய போராட்டத்தை சாத்வீக வழியிலும், ஆயுதம் தாங்கியும் நடத்தி, அதற்காக அளப்பரிய தியாகம் செய்த தமிழர்களை, தங்கள் சொந்தங்கள் மூன்று இலட்சம் பேரை சிங்கள இனவெறி அரசின் வெறிக்கு உயிர்பலித்தந்த மக்களை, அதே இனப் படுகொலையாளனுடன் ஒத்துப் போகச் சொல்வது எந்த வகையில் நியாயம்?

2007 முதல் இரண்டரை ஆண்டுக்காலம் நடந்த இனப் படுகொலைப் போரில் தெற்காசிய வல்லாதிக்கங்களின் துணையுடன், சீனா, இரஷ்யா போன்ற வல்லரசுகள் அளித்த தடை செய்யப்பட்ட பேரழிவு ஆயுதங்களைப் பயன்படுத்தி, மக்கள் பாதுகாப்பு வலயத்திற்கு வரச்சொல்லிவிட்டு அங்கு அந்த குண்டுகளை வீசி ஒன்றரை இலட்சம் பேரை படுகொலை செய்த ஒரு அரசியல் தலைவன், அவன் பெரும்பான்மை மக்களின் ஆதரவு பெற்று வெற்றி பெற்று பதவியில் அமர்ந்துள்ளான் என்று ஒரே காரணத்திற்காக ‘நீங்களும் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளுங்கள்’ என்று கூறுவது ஈனத்தனமான அரசியல் அல்லவா?

ஈழத் தமிழர்களைக் கொன்று குவித்தவனிடம் சென்று, “நாடாளுமன்றத்திற்குட்பட்டு உங்கள் பிரச்சனைக்குத் தீர்வு காணுங்கள்” என்று பாசிசத்தை எதிர்த்த ஐரோப்பிய நாடான நார்வே கூறுகிறது! நல்ல வேளை இப்படிப்பட்ட ‘மகாத்மா’க்கள் ஹிட்லர் காலத்தில் பிறந்திருக்கவில்லை. இல்லையென்றால், ஐரோப்பாவை கபளீகரம் செய்த நிலையில், ஹிட்லர் முன் மண்டியிட்டு ‘எல்லாவற்றையும் மறந்துவிட்டு எல்லோரும் ஒன்றுபடுவோம்’ என்று கூறியிருப்பார்கள்.

ஐ.நா.வின் பன்னாட்டு மனித உரிமைப் பிரகடனம், இனப் படுகொலைக்கு எதிரான ஐ.நா. பிரகடனம், தன் நாட்டு மக்களை காப்பாற்றும் பொறுப்பை கைவிட்ட பிரகடனம், வாழ்வுரிமைக்கான ரோம் பிரகடனம் என்று இந்த உலகில் மனித குலத்தின் மாட்சிமையை காப்பாற்றும் பிரகடனங்கள் அனைத்தின் படியும் குற்றம் சுமத்தப்பட்டு தலை குனிந்து நிற்கும் ஒரு இனப் படுகொலையாளனான ராஜபக்ச முன்பு நார்வே மண்டியிடுகிறது!

மனித உரிமை பிரகடனங்களில் உண்மையான அக்கறை அதற்கு இருந்திருக்குமானால், அந்த நாட்டின் பிரதமர் ஜென் ஸ்டோல்டன்பர்கும், எரிக் சோல்ஹீமும் மகிந்த ராஜபக்சை சந்தித்திருப்பார்களா?

ஐரோப்பாவின் மூத்த பத்திரிக்கையாளர் ஒருவர் (பெயரை திட்டமிட்டுத் தவிர்க்கின்றோம்) கூறினார்: “ஈழப் பிரச்சனையை நார்வே உள்ளிட்ட ஐரோப்பிய நாடுகள் கை கழுவி விட்டனா. இதற்கு மேல் அவர்கள் உங்களுக்காக நிற்க மாட்டார்கள்” என்றார். அதுதான இன்று நடக்கிறது.

1998ஆம் ஆண்டுமுதல் அமைத்திக்கான அனுசரணையாளராக நார்வே செயல்பட்டதெல்லாம் இராஜதந்திர நடிப்பா? அதுதான் நார்வே என்றால், இந்த நார்வே வேறா? அல்லது இதுதான் நார்வேயின் உண்மை முகமா? தமிழரின் உரிமைப் போராட்டதின் நியாயத்தை உணர்ந்து செயல்படுவது போல் காட்டிக்கொண்டு அவர்களோடு இருந்து காட்டிக் கொடுத்துள்ளதா நார்வே? ஆயிரம் கேள்விகள் எழுகின்றன.

ஆனால் ஒன்று, நார்வே அல்ல, ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியம் அல்ல, அமெரிக்காவோ கனடாவோ அல்ல, இந்த உலகமே ஒன்றிணைந்து அந்த இனப் படுகொலையாளனுக்கு ஆதரவாக நின்றாலும், அவனை எதிர்த்து தமிழர்கள் ஒன்றுபட்டு நிற்கிறார்கள் என்கிற உண்மை நார்வே நாட்டிற்கு தெரிந்திருக்கவில்லை.

இலங்கை மண்ணில் ஒரு தேசிய இனமாக உள்ள தமிழர்களை மைனாரிட்டி என்று கூறிலாம். ஆனால், இலங்கையின் அண்டை மண்ணாக இருக்கும் தமிழகத்தில் தமிழர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையும், எண்ணமும், சிங்களத்தின் மெஜாரிட்டிக்கு என்றென்றைக்கும் சவாலாக இருக்கும். தமிழீழப் பகுதியில் அமைதி நிலவாமல், அங்கு தமிழர்களின் கண்ணியத்திற்கு உத்தரவாதமில்லாமல், அதனை உறுதி செய்யும் ஒரு நாடு பிறக்காமல் சிங்கள இலங்கையில் இன்று நிலவும் இவர்களும் கூறும் அந்த ‘அமைதி’ நிலைக்காது.

ஏனெனில், நியூ ஸீலாந்து நாட்டின் நீதிமன்றம் உறுதி செய்ததுபோல், ஈழத் தமிழர்கள் அந்நாட்டு அரசை எதிர்த்து நடத்தியது விடுதலைப் போராட்டமே.

அதற்கு ஒரே தீர்வு - நார்வே போன்ற நாடுகள் ஒப்புக் கொண்டாலும் ஒப்புக் கொள்ளாவிட்டாலும் - விடுதலை மட்டுமே.

Subject: Norway should help to bring a political solution to Tamils in Sri Lanka

Norway as Sri Lanka’s former peace broker may claim the war is won but not peace / political solution. And yes, Tamils get it, "history is written by the victors", and here is brief history:

1. During negotiations over the formation of Israel, frustrated Zionists, members of an organisation known as the Stern Gang, murdered the British ambassador to Egypt, Lord Moyne.In 1946 they blew up the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, killing 91 guests.

2. The Viet Cong were once referred to as terrorists, but no longer, not since they and the North Vietnamese Army won the war.

3. Nelson Mandela was convicted of sabotage under white South Africa's notorious terrorism laws in 1964 and sentenced to life in prison on Robben Island. A substantial shift in power between white and black South Africans saw Mandela become president of South Africa in 1994.

When comes to Tamils and victorious Sri Lanka, Norway is most familiar with its strife than anyone. Let us remind ourselves a brief history:

1. 2000: Only via negotiation, peace can achieved ( Tigers held upper hand)

2. 2002: After earning support from Tamils, Norway tells Sri Lanka to talk to Tamil Tigers. Tamils declare unilateral ceasefire.

3. 2005: Norway urges Tamils to negotiating table after weakening diplomatically

4. 2007: Norway tell that Tamil Tigers cannot be beaten militarily

5. 2009: Tamil Tiger rebels must surrender and civilians will be saved and yet most top level leaders were found shot dead. More than 50000 civilians were killed in "No fire zones and hospitals etc".

6. 2010: Tamils should surrender to Sri Lanka led by Mahinda Rajabakse

The answer Tamils would like to ask co-chairs ( Norway/EU/USA/Japan) and India: why? why would you all betray Tamils? what exactly did you achieve?

And Tamils still hope Norway can bring a political solution to Tamils that protects them from continued prosecution.

‘Norway wrongs by cooperating with Colombo’

The Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg is naive if he believes normalisation of relations with Colombo will lay the basis for reconciliation. It is wrong to normalise relations with a regime that uses the army to expel Tamils from their land and settle Sinhalese there. Before normalising diplomatic ties Stoltenberg should demand Rajapaksa to accept UN investigation, said Norwegian Red Party deputy leader Bjørnar Moxnes, Wednesday, responding to media reports that Stoltenberg is the first Western head of government to meet Rajapaksa with a cooperation agenda after the civil war. Meanwhile, Mr. Majoran Vivekananthan, managing editor of Utrop said “it is unwise to let Solheim set the terms for Norway's relationship with Sri Lanka until a thorough evaluation of Norwegian and Solheim's role in the failed peace process is carried out.”

Norwegian leaders meet Rajapaksa and his son in New York

The Norwegian Prime Minister and development minister Mr. Erik Solheim, met Mahinda Rajapaksa in New York on Tuesday.

Solheim maintains that partnership with Rajapaksa is the only possibility, reported Norway’s largest newspaper Aftenposten, Wednesday, titling its feature as “Have to cooperate with Rajapaksa”.

Solheim was harping on promoting tourism development, business development and reconciliation.

“So far, the domination of personalities related to development agencies in the foreign policy approaches has failed the peace process in the island,” said Majoran Vivekananthan, managing editor of the Norwegian multicultural biweekly Utrop.

“In its historic responsibility to the peoples of the island and of humanity, the Norwegian foreign ministry may do better by fresh personalities conceiving fresh approaches in saving development concepts degenerating the dignity of the peace negotiators into that of appeasers,” Vivekananthan said.

“There are signals that Norwegian development funds are used as a tool to get Tamil organizations and politics subservient to the war-winner. This is a dangerous conflation of politics and development assistance.”

“The most unfortunate move by Norway is that the parties are pressured into collaboration before there is a political solution to the ethnic issue. The underlying causes for the war are not resolved, and Norway failed completely in the process. On the contrary, Norway is now contributing to strengthening Sri Lankan president's grip on Tamils by offering cooperation,” Vivekananthan further said.

Erik Solheim in New York, when contacted by Aftenposten after his meeting with Rajapaksa, had said, “If we are to help the Tamils in Sri Lanka, we have to build a good partnership. I have received inquiries from several Tamils who have just encouraged such a commitment”.

Responding, Dr Panchakulasingam Kandaiah, president of the democratically elected Norwegian Council of Eezham Tamils, asked whether Mr. Solheim could prove a majority opinion on this at least among the Eezham Tamils in Norway. He cautioned against some Tamils being used as collaborators.

The Norwegian Red Party statement Wednesday saw a rough colonisation policy of Colombo in Tamil land in the island.

While Colombo was clearly showing signs of a multifaceted genocidal agenda, the phrase ‘post-war reconciliation’ first came out from the US State Department, immediately after the war.

Mahinda Rajapaksa, on the same day of receiving Stoltenberg and Erik Solheim, also met the Iranian President.

While Mahinda Rajapaksa was on his way to New York, his brother and Defence Secretary, Gotabaya Rajapaksa met the top Chinese military commander in Beijing to deepen military ties between the two governments.

After crushing the military strength of Eezham Tamils with the abetment of all powers, and while receiving so much gestures of ‘cooperation’, against whom the Rajapaksa regime hurriedly and intensively builds military establishments in the Tamil north and east has to be carefully comprehended by concerned people, commented a South Asia analyst in Colombo.

Rajapaksa also met Tuesday his Iranian counterpart, a key ally of Colombo in its war against the LTTE

தமிழர்களின் இவ்வளவு உயிரிழப்புகளுக்கும் நோர்வே தான் முதல் காரணம் என்பதும் பலருக்குப் புரியாத புதிர்

தமிழனுக்கு இனிமேல் ஒன்றும் தேவையில்லை. ஓரத்திலிருந்து இவர்களைச் சீண்டிவிடும் வேலையைச் செய்தால் தழிழீழம் தானாப்பிறக்கும்.

அதுக்கும் எட்டப்பன் கூட்டங்கள் விடவேண்டுமே. இறைவன் கொடுத்த அதீத சக்தி புலிகளையே தமிழனால் சரியாகப்பாவிக்கமுடியவில்லை.

புலிகளைச் சாட்டி வெளிநாடுகளில் தமிழ்மக்களிடம் பணக்கொள்ளை அடித்தவர்களும் இன்னும் கப்பல் தமிழர்களைச்சாட்டி வீடுவீடாக பணம் திரட்டும் தமிழர்கழளயும் அடித்து ஒதுக்குங்கள். பணக்கொள்ளைக்கு காரணம் தேடி அலையும் கூட்டங்களை இனம் காணுங்கள் தமிழர்களே.
