TRANSCRIPT OF MESSAGES THAT EXPOSED THE SICKENING PLOT

This is an edited transcript of two online conversations between Y, the undercover Daily Mail reporter posing as a 16-year-old-British Muslim girl, and F, the Islamic State fixer, whom we have called Fatima. Aisha is Fatima’s younger sister, aged 16. Fatima wants Y to accompany Aisha to the Islamic State.

‘DON’T BRING ANYTHING ISLAMIC ... NO QURAN’

Y: I spoke to your friend and she said you are from London and could help me make Hijrah [travel to Islamic State].

F: How old are you? You cannot come directly to Istanbul unless you wish to get arrested. I have a proposal for you. You will be coming alone, right? You don’t have any friends or family suspecting you?

Y: I’m 16. I haven’t told anyone. Not family or friends. Yes, I will be coming alone.

F: There is another sister the same age as you, also from London with the same amount of cash as you, looking to make Hijrah roughly end of this month. You may come together so your alibi is stronger.

Y: Where do you know the other sister from?

F: She’s my blood sister lol [laugh out loud]. I came alone and now she’s coming. Nobody will know about either of you coming apart from me and each other. You can book flights and hotels together ... and leave quickly. She has already done her packing. Have you packed? Nothing Islamic at all. No Islamic books, no Quran, no lectures or YouTube clips or pdfs, nothing. If you agree we can get this process moving quickly. Where in London you from?

Y: Hackney. Where is your sister? I also want to go very soon. I would like to go with your sister … but I am scared.

F: I know that area very well. My sister is in Leyton. She hasn’t told anybody. So don’t worry. She’s quite the innocent, friendly type. How does May 28 sound? Can you pack by then?

Y: Yes I can pack by then. Where do you want me to meet your sis?

F: You will meet her in a smoothie place next to Leyton station. She wears niqab [face covering]. Do you? Can you book flight and hotel to Switzerland on Wednesday, when you meet her? I’ll explain the exact route from London to Switzerland to Istanbul to Syria to both of you.

F: Aisha meet Y. You will meet each other in Leyton, outside the Smoothies shop, on Wednesday. Both of you are in niqab. Aisha will bring her laptop from which you will book your flight and hotel in Switzerland.Only discuss normal things, hobbies, travelling, holiday stuff. Nothing to do with Islamic State and nothing to do with Turkey or Syria. Keep it casual. You want to get away on a nice holiday to Switzerland. Start searching up Switzerland on Google, just for the alibi to run smoothly. Y, do you have hijab [head covering] in your passport photo?

Y: Mine is without as I was young when I got it.

‘MY HUSBAND HAS SOMEONE FOR YOU TO MARRY’

F: OK great, that’s less risky. Dress completely western. Aisha does not have hijab in her passport photo, so will be dressed in full western and hair done, and make-up of course.

You two don’t have long. Just a little over a week. Start packing now. Make sure you have your passport secured. And make sure you can leave discreetly without anybody knowing.

Don’t discuss your Hijrah to anybody. Oh and delete all pictures from your phone of yourself in hijab or niqab. Make sure your phone is filled with games and random things, again nothing Islamic. Have a secured password.

Y: Thank you for your guidance sister. How long will we be in the safe house in Turkey?

F: It depends when u reach, you can cross that night or next morning... But not long.

Y: Does a brother take us over the border?

F: Yes, you will most likely be with other sisters. And a brother helps everybody cross.

Y: Which city will I live in after we cross to Syria?

F: Madafah [safe house] in Raqqa. Same as my sister. Both of you will be together. I will come there to collect my sister. You will stay there until you get married. My husband has already suggested somebody for you. We have a lot of brothers here.
