அக்சன் பாம் தொண்டு நிறுவனம் மாவிலாற்றின் யுத்தத்தின்போது இடம்பெயர்ந்த மக்களுக்காக சேவையினை வழங்குவதற்காக சென்றபோது சிறிலங்காப் படையினரால் 17 பேர் மிகவும் கோரத்தனமாகக் கொல்லப்பட்டமை தொடர்பாக அனைத்து ஆதாரங்களும் இன்றும் அம்பலமாகியுள்ளது.

அந்நிறுவனத்தின் கடமைமயாற்றிய அனைவரும் வரிசையாக நிலத்தில் குப்பறப் படுக்க வைக்கப்பட்டு அவர்கள் அனைவரின் கைகளும் தலையில் வைக்கபட்டு அனைவரும் ஒரே நேரத்தில் சுட்டுக் கொல்லபட்டுள்ளார்கள்.

இவர்களின் உடலை கொடுக்க மறுத்த சிறிலங்காப் படையினர் இரவோடு இரவாக எண்ணை ஊற்றி எரிக்க முற்பட்ட வேளை அதிஸ்ரவசமாக பாரிய அழுத்தத்தை இலங்கை அரசிற்கு கொடுத்து குறித்த நிறுவனத்தின் 17 பணியாளர்களின் உடல்களையும் அதே நிறுவனத்தின் சக பணியாளர்கள் மீட்டு வந்துள்ளார்கள்.

இவர்களின் உடல்கள் மிகவும் பழுதடைந்து துர்நாற்றம் வீசுவதாகவும் பல உடல்கள் வீதி ஓரங்களில் சிதைந்து போய் இருப்பதாகவும் அவற்றை எடுத்து சிறிலங்காப் படையினர் தீயிட்டு கொழுத்தி வருவதாகவும் இந்த உடல்களை மீpட்கச் சென்றவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

அவர் மேலும் தெரிவிக்கையில் நாங்கள் 10 பேர் இன்று பாரிய சர்வதேச அழுத்தத்தின் மத்தியில் இலங்கை அரசாங்கத்திற்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்ட கடும் நிர்ப்;பந்தத்தின் மத்தியில் எமது சக பணியாளர்களின் உடலை மீட்கச் சென்றோம். இந்த 17 பேர் தொடர்பாக தற்போது என்னால் கூற முடியாவிட்டாலும் ஒரு சில தகவல்களை கூற முடியும்.

இவர்கள் சிறிலங்காப் படையினரால் கொல்லப்பட்டார்கள் என்பதற்கு போதுமான சான்றுகள் இருக்கின்றது. இவர்களை சுட்ட இடத்தில் பல நூற்றுக் கணக்கான வெற்றுத் தோட்டாக்கள் இருக்கின்றது. கொல்லப்பட்ட ஆண் பெண் பணியாளர்களின் கழுத்தில் இருந்த நகைகள் அனைத்தும் கழற்றி எடுக்கப்;பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்த 17 பேரில் கொல்லப்பட்ட அருள் என்பவர் மிகவும் வறுமையான குடும்பத்தை சேர்ந்தவர். தனது குடும்பத்தையும் கவனிப்பதற்காக கல்வியை இடைநடுவில் விட்டுவிட்டு இந்த நிறுவனத்தில் வேலை செய்ய சென்றவர். இன்று இரவு 1.15க்கு 17 உடல்களுக்கும் அருகில் அருளின் தாயாரோ திருகோணமலையில் நிற்கின்றார். கதறி அழும் தாயாரின் அவலக்குரல் திருமலை நகரையே அதிரச் செய்கின்றது. அருளுக்கு வயது 24 தாயார் சுகவீனமான ஒரு பெண். தனது தாயாருக்கு தினமும் காலையில் நோய்யுற்று இருக்கும் தனது தாயாரின் முகத்தை ஈரச் சீலையால் துடைத்து தாயாரின் தேவைகள் நிறைவு செய்து வேலைக்கு சென்று வருவபவன்.

இந்த சம்பவத்தில் கொல்லப்பட்டவரில் ரகு இவருடைய சகோதரன் பெயர் கேமச்சந்திரா இந்த கேமச்சந்திரா அண்மையில் 5 பல்கலைக்கழக மாணவர்களில் பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சின் ஆலோசகர் கொட்டகதேனியவின் விசேட உத்தரவின் பேரில் கொல்லப்பட்ட பல்கலைக்கழக மாணவர்களில் ஒருவர். கேமச்சந்திராவும் அன்று கடற்கரையில் படுக்க வைக்கபட்டு கைகள் தலையில் கைகள் வைக்கபட்டு சுட்டுக் கொல்லப்பட்டார் அவருடைய தம்பியார் இந்த 17 பேரில் ஒருவர் அவரும் நிலத்தில் படுக்க வைக்கப்பட்டு கும்புடும்படி செய்யப்பட்டு கைகள் தலையில் வைக்கப்பட்டு தலையில் இருந்து கால்வரைக்கும் 15 துப்பாக்கி ரவைகள் பாய்ந்துள்ளது.

மேலும் கொல்லப்பட்டவர்களில் ஒருவர் தனது மகளுடன் சேர்த்து கொல்லபட்டுள்ளார் இந்த நிறுவனத்தின் வாகனச் சாரதியான தகப்பனாரும் அவருடைய மகள் இந்த நிறுவனத்தின் தொண்டராகவும் செயற்பட்டு வந்தவராவார் இருவரும் நிலத்தை படுக்குமாறு கூறப்பட்டு தலையில் கைகள் இரண்டும் பின்புறமாக வைக்கப்பட்டு தலையில் இருந்து இடுப்பு வரைக்கும் தகப்பனாருக்கும் மகளுக்குமாக சுமார் 25 ரவைகள் இவர்களின் உடலை சல்லடை போட்டுள்ளது.

மேலும் கொல்லப்பட்டவர்களில் ஒருவர் ஆனந்தன் இவர் வன்னி பெருநிலப்பரப்பை சொந்த இடமாக கொண்டவர் வன்னியில் இருந்து இடம்பெயர்ந்து வந்து திருகோணமலை அன்புவழிபுரத்தில் தனது குடும்பத்தாருடன் வாழ்ந்து வந்தவர். இவருக்கு பல்கலைக்கழகத்திற்கு கிடைத்தபோதும் குடும்பத்தின் வறுமை காரணமாக பல்கலைக்கழக படிப்பை தொடராமல் இந்த நிறுவனத்தின் வேலையையும் வருமானத்தையும் நம்பியே இவருடைய குடும்பம் நகர்ந்துகொண்டிருந்தது.

அண்மையில் திருமணம் முடித்த இந்த ஆனந்தனுக்கு ஒரு வயதில் ஒரு பெண் குழந்தையும் இருக்கின்றது. ஆனந்தனை நிலத்தை குப்பற படுத்திவிட்டு தலையில் பின்புறமாக கைகள் இரண்டையும் தூக்கும்படி கூறப்பட்டு தலையில் கழுத்தில் மார்பில் முதுகில் இடும்பில் என்று சும்மார் 10 துப்பாக்கி ரவைகள் இவருடைய உடலை பிளந்து சென்றுள்ளது.

The Media Centre for National Security (MCNS) has stated that it was a totally fabricated story to discredit the armed forces.

Action against the Hunger suspends its programs and requires an investigation

Action counters the Hunger learned with horror this weekend death of 15 of his/her collaborators on basis ACF of Muttur (district of Trincomalee). The organization set up a cell of assistance psychological, suspended for the moment its programs in the country and goes diligenter an investigation into this true “massacre” which once more calls into question the presence and the nongovernmental action of the organizations on the grounds of conflict.

Since more than one week, the combat between the Tamouls Tigers and the army Sri Lankaise made rage around the harbour city of Muttur. The team of Action against the Hunger - which assisted the moved populations to with it could not have been evacuated because none the parts to the conflict gave access to the zone. All the communications were cut since Friday August 4 in the morning. Contradictory information circulated and it is on Saturday August 5 that we had confirmation of the death of 15 members of the team of Action against the Hunger. The team would have been according to any probability carried out. All the employees were vêtus of a tee-shirt the identifier clearly as collaborators of Action against the Hunger.

The director of human resources of the organization left this Sunday on the spot to set up a cell of psychological assistance aiming at supporting the families of the victims and the teams of Action against the Hunger.

The priority for the teams of Action against the Hunger on the spot is from now on to have access to the zone - access always impossible because of the continuation of the military tensions in the district of Trincomalee- this to bring back the bodies of the victims to their families and to allow their burial.

In this zone, Action against the Hunger intervened with 1000 families to support better conditions of hygiene and the access to drinking water. This emergency intervention had been installation to come to assistance of the people moved following the interethnic tensions and the recovery of the engagements which have occurred in April and May the last. Other programs related to the agricultural revival and other economic activities were also set up to meet the needs for the victims of the tsunami of December 2004.

Action counters the Hunger stopped for the moment all these activities in Sri Lanka (Jaffna, Batticaloa, Trincomalee) and re-examines its presence in the country. This morning, new president d' Action against the Hunger, Denis Metzger, declared:

“It is the first time that Action against the Hunger is struck kind in 27 years of existence. This massacre once again illustrates the difficulties encountered by the humane actors on the grounds of conflict. The defended humane values and everywhere posted by Action against the Hunger - neutrality, impartiality, free access to the victims, independence - were once again ridiculed. This act, beyond its horror, once more calls into question the statute even of the humane action such as it is defended and carried out by ONG like Action against the Hunger. ”

The organization intervenes in Sri Lanka since 1996 on the humane consequences of the war that delivers the “Tamouls Tigers” and the army Sri Lankaise then since 2005 near the populations disaster victims by the Tsunami of December 2004.

The mission - Sri Lanka d' Action against the Hunger includes/understands 15 expatriates and 224 employees Sri Lankais (3 expatriates and more than 50 collaborators Sri Lankais on the district of Trincomalee).

இச்சம்பவத்தில் எனது நண்பர் ஒருவரும் பலியாகியுள்ளதாக அறியமுடிந்தது. அவரது குடும்பத்தினருடனோ/ அவருடனோ நீண்ட நாட்களாக தொடர்புகள் இல்லமையால் தொடர்புகொள்ள தற்போது முடியவில்லை.

தொண்டுநிறுவனத்தின் பணியாளர்களை இப்படி மிருகத்தனமாகச் சாகடித்தவர்கள் நிச்சயமாக மனிதர்களல்ல. எப்படித்தான் உண்மைகளை மறைக்க முயன்றாலும் அவை என்றோ ஒருநாள் வெளிச்சத்திற்கு வந்தேயாகும்.

Bodies of 17 NGO workers brought to Trincomalee

The bodies of 17 persons, 16 Tamils and a Muslim, were brought to the mortuary of the Trincomalee general hospital Tuesday in a lorry from Muthur via Allai-Kantalai road. On the orders of the Sri Lankan authorities, a Sinhalese Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) was brought from Anuradhapura to conduct the post-mortem examinations. One of the victims, Y.Kodeeswaran, was the eldest brother of Y.Hemachchandran, another victim of an execution-style massacre by the Special Task Force (STF), the Sri Lankan counter-insurgency elite force in January this year along the Trincomalee sea beach. A father who was a driver, and his daughter, a hygience promoter, were also among the ACF victims.

Media persons who went to take photographs of the victims lying in the mortuary Tuesday morning were not allowed by the Sri Lankan armed forces and police to enter the hospital premises.

Many of the local reporters refrained from covering the incident as a Tami reporter who photographed the January 02 massacre was assasinated.

Funeral of victims are to be held by their relatives on receipt of the sealed coffins which "should be kept in their home for about two hours," according to the instructions by the Sri Lankan armed forces, informed civil sources said.

The victims

Among those killed four were women and others men. Of them sixteen were Tamils and one Muslim. All were deployed by the ACF in Muthur area to implement tsunami relief works such as in the construction of permanent houses, sources said.

The four women were identified as G. Kavitha, 27, K.Kovarthani, 28, S.Romila, 25, and V.Kokilavathani, 29. All women victims were Hygiene Promoters. Kavitha's father, a driver, was also killed in the massacre.

Advanced Field-Officer G. Sreethraran, 36, Assistant Promotion Manager Primus Anandarajah, from Vanni, Supervisor Matahavarasa Ketheeswaran, 36, father of two and field officers, M. Narmathan, 24, R. Arulraj, 24, P.Partheeban, 27,(my friend) M. Rishikeshan, 28, and Y. Kodeeswaran, 31, were killed.

The drivers, were identified as S. Ganesh, 54, whose daughter was also killed in the massacre, I. Muraleetharan, 35, and K. Koneshwaran, 24.

The Muslim victim, Abdul Latif Mohamed Jauffer, 31, was a peon, from Muthur.

Y.Kodeeswaran, one of the massacre victims is the eldest brother of Y.Hemachchandran who was killed on January 2 this year with four other Tamil students along the Trincomalee sea beach in an execution type killed carried out by the Special Task Force (STF) of the Police. Hemachchandran was the youngest in the family.

Dr.M.Waidiyaraetna, Judical Medical Officer of the Anuradhapura General Hospital has been conducting post-mortem examination on the bodies of several workers of the French humanitarian organization.

The ACF workers were, allegedly lined up and shot dead by Sri Lankan government troopers when they entered the Muthur town after LTTE fighters returned to their positions in Muthur East. The post-mortem examinations are held in the Trincomalee general hospital, medical sources said.

Till 1.30 p.m. Tuesday post-mortem examinations on four bodies were completed and were released to their relatives in sealed coffins. Relatives of the victims had been asked to conduct the burial within two hours and not to open the seal coffins as the bodies were in the state of putrefaction, sources said.

மனிதத்தின் முன் சிங்களம் தமிழ் முஸ்லீம் என்ற பாகுபாடில்லை. அப்பாவித் தமிழ் மக்களின் இழப்புக்கள் தரும் வேதனையைப் போலவே அப்பாவி மக்கள் எங்கிறந்தாலும்..அது வேதனைதான்..! சிங்கள மக்கள் பல வகைகளில் பலராலும் இலக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டனர் என்பதைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டலாம். உதாரணத்துக்கு..மத்திய வங்கிக் குண்டு வெடிப்பு..! அதில் தமிழர்கள் கூட பாதிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றனர்..

இத்தோடு இந்த உதாரணங்களை நிறுத்துவது நல்லம் என்று நினைக்கின்றோம்..! :idea:

உந்த மனிதாபினாக் கணக்கு எல்லாம், எப்போது தமிழர் என்று தெரிந்தபோது கொல்லப்பட்டனரோ, அன்றே தமிழனுக்குச் செத்து விட்டது. நீர் போட்டிருக்கின்ற முகமூடிக்கு அது தேவை என்றால் புலம்பும்.

ஆனால் சொந்த இனம் அழியும்போது, மற்றவர்களைப் பற்றிக் கண்ணீர் வடிப்பவனின் இனம் எப்படி இருக்கும் என மரபணுப் பரிசோதனை செய்து தான் ஆக வேணும்.

சிங்கள மக்கள் என்று அந்த நேரத்தில் அது இலக்கு வைக்கப்படவில்லை. மத்திய வங்கியில் பல இன மக்களும் வேலை செய்தனர் தான். பொருளாதர நிலைகள் மீதான் தகர்ப்பு என்பது தான் முக்கிய எண்ணம். எனவே சிங்கள மக்கள் மட்டும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டதாக கண்ணீர் வடிக்காதீர்!!
