செவ்வாய் கிரகத்தில் பெண் உருவம்

நாசா: செவ்வாய் கிரகத்தில் பெண் உருவம் இருப்பதாக அங்கு இருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்ட படத்தை நாசா வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. செவ்வாய்கிரகத்திற்கு விண்கலம் ஒன்றை அமெரிக்கா அனுப்பியது. அங்குள்ள விண்பரப்பில் இருந்து அவ்வப்போது எடுக்கப்படும் படங்களை இன்டர்நெட் மூலம் பூமிக்கு அனுப்பி வருகிறது. இந்நிலையில் பாறை மீது ஒரு பெண் அமர்ந்து இருப்பதுபோன்ற ஒரு அமைப்பு இருக்கும் படம் தற்போது அனுப்பி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த படம் உலகம் முழுவதும் பெரும் தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இது கண்ணுக்கு பெண் போன்ற உருவமாக தோன்றுவதாகவும் , பாறையில் இயற்கையாக அமைந்துள்ள காட்சி தான் என்றும் கூறப்படுகிறது. இந்த படத்தின் மூலம் அங்கு மக்கள் வாழ்ந்திருப்பார்களோ என்ற கேள்வியையும் பரவலாக உலகம் முழுவதும் எழுப்பியுள்ளது.

என்ன குமாரசாமி, பனங்கா, பொண்ண ஊருக்கு வெளியில தள்ளி வைச்சுட்டாங்களா? ஒரே ஒரு பொண்ணுதான் தெரியுது.

அப்படியென்றால் பெண்களிடம்தான் செவ்வாய்(யும்) இருக்கிறது.

கிட்டடியில சந்திரனுக்குள்ள சாயிபாபாவுட முகத்தை (வெப் சைட்டில) பார்த்து அதிhந்து போனன். இப்ப செவ்வாய்க்குள்ள பொம்புள! என்ன ஒரே துர்ச்சகுனமா இருக்குது. என்ன நடக்கப் போகுதோ தெரியல்ல.

என்ன குமாரசாமி, பனங்கா, பொண்ண ஊருக்கு வெளியில தள்ளி வைச்சுட்டாங்களா? ஒரே ஒரு பொண்ணுதான் தெரியுது.

3. Mystery image of 'life on Mars'

An image of a mysterious shape on the surface of Mars, taken by Nasa spacecraft Spirit, has reignited the debate about life on the Red Planet.

A magnified version of the picture, posted on the internet, appears to some to show what resembles a human form among a crop of rocks.

While some bloggers have dismissed the image as a trick of light, others say it is evidence of an alien presence.

The image is a recent Nasa posting of the Spirit's landing in 2004.

Perspective

When the robotic rover set down on 24 January 2004, its images disappointed space-watchers hoping for signs of extraterrestrial life.

Now they appear convinced that this image provides the evidence they have been trawling Nasa's photo files for.

The blown-up image seems to resemble a figure striding among the Martian rocks.

The internet has been abuzz with postings offering theories.

Copenhagen's mermaid: Evidence of Martian settlers?

One said it was a garden gnome, another that it was the Virgin Mary.

A third suggested Bigfoot, the hairy bipedal mountain beast that appears in various guises in a number of legends around the world.

But the consensus seemed to be that it bore a striking resemblance to the Little Mermaid statue in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.

Poster "Madurobob" said it was a statue "obviously built by an ancient civilisation that later departed Mars and settled Denmark".

Badastronomy.com tried to apply some perspective: "A man? It's a tiny rock only a few inches high. It's only a few feet from the rover!"

A little green martian? Of course not. But this picture just proves our enduring obsession with finding life on Mars

The proper word for it is pareidolia: the phenomenon where people tend to see human faces and other familiar forms in otherwise unfamiliar inanimate objects. We have all seen faces and creatures in the sky.

When Hamlet saw a strange cloud, he exclaimed to Polonius, "Methinks it is like a weasel" (Polonius, for his part, thought it more like a camel).

People are for ever seeing Jesus or the Virgin Mary in tortillas, buns, the swirls in their coffee and reflections in windows.

But, for some reason, one of the most popular places to see these unlikely visions is in space.

This week, the Mail showed an extraordinary photograph taken by the Nasa Mars Rover, Spirit, which has been trundling across the surface of the Red Planet for four years.

In the picture, which I have no reason to suspect was doctored or altered, there appears to be a greenish-brown human figure, a woman perhaps, perched on a rock, staring rather wistfully at the crater floor below her.

The longer you stare at this picture, the more convincing the "human" becomes.

But it is an illusion; there is no woman, green or otherwise, on the surface of Mars. If there were, she would suffocate and freeze in short order.

This is simply a trick of the light, shadow and perspective, the brain seeing something familiar in an alien jumble of volcanic rocks under a strange orange-pink sky.

Yet this is not the first - and will not be the last - time we have seen strange apparitions on Mars, on Earth and on other planets.

The first and best-known example of pareidolia in space was of course the Man in the Moon.

have never found its surface to look particularly human, but many people insist the pattern of dark lava plains and brighter highland areas looks for all the world like a human nose, mouth and two eyes.

If I squint, I suppose I can just about see it.

Mars, for some unknown reason, is home to many strange apparitions. People have been "seeing" things on the Red Planet that aren't there for more than a century.

தற்போது பூமியில் காணப்படும் மலைகள்(பிரமிட் வடிவிலான. இவை காலப் போக்கில் உரு மறைப்பாகியுள்ளன) பல செயற்கையாய் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன என்பதையும் கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளார்கள். அதற்குள் பல மறைவான பாதைகள் இருப்பதாகவும் சொல்லப்படுகின்றது.

இப்படி ஒரு மலை தான் சஞ்சிவி மலையா???
